I only live a half hour away from the KOA in Pomona. We just wanted a quick getaway that was close by that had a heated pool. I made the reservations and then read the reviews on this site. When I read the reviews I was a little upset that I didn't read them first. But I didn't and it was already paid for so we decided to just make the best of it. Well, I had a totally different experience. The staff was very friendly to us. In fact, the lady checking us in asked how old my son was. I told her he was 11 and she said that today he was five. So instead of charging us $51 she only charged us $44. The park was very clean and the landscaping was nice. They have a little store there and a work out room. We really enjoyed the heated pool and the jacuzzi. My sister-in-law (and her dog) even came up for the day to enjoy the pool and they didn't even charge her. All of the sites are asphalt with grass on the sides and a lot of them with shade trees. The sites are very small though. We were also near the street so we heard the traffic all night. Next time I will ask for a site further away from the street. We will definitely go back when we want a quick getaway week-end that is close by the house.

The park was very clean and well maintained. It was all grass with trees scattered throughout the park. The sites are paved with concrete fire rings and picnic tables. There is a lot of space between you and your neighbors. The bathrooms didn't have any doors on the stalls but they were clean. We didn't have any problems with the flies but the day we were leaving there seemed to be a lot of flies. Their website said they have boat rentals but they didn't have any when we were there. I asked them about it and they said the ones they had were vandalized and they are in the process of getting some more. The kids loved the big playground. We will definitely go back.

When we visited Tucalota Springs RV Park we liked it a lot. It's a small campground but it is very clean. The sites are large to. All of the sites have fire pits and they have full hook ups. They also have tent areas. They have a store on the premises stocked with most of the items you may need while camping. There is a solar heated swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball court and a couple of horseshoe pits. There are also trails to ride your bike on and there is a little lake for fishing. Its catch and release and you will need to purchase a license from their store for $5.00. You won't get cell phone service but if you feel like taking a nice walk up the hill there will be a bench waiting for you and you will get service there. The people who worked there were very friendly. We will definitely go back!
