We stop here on the way home from Florida every spring. This is a beautiful park with it's own amusement area. It is very well kept with full facilities. At this time of year it is sparsely populated but they are still full service and friendly. Those with young children should find it to be a great destination in the summer.

Very friendly smaller park. Have stayed here on way to Florida & back for several years. Park was nice when we first stopped there, but has been improved and more work is being done. Quite convenient to the Golden Isles to south and Savannah to north, but the park is peaceful and quiet. Locally, try Skipper's Fish Camp in Darien for excellent sea food. There are several other really good restaurants within 10-15 miles.

Roamers seems to be slowly deteriorating. There are a number of little things that just don't seem to get fixed, missing box covers and the like. When the current owners took over they had a suggestion box and posted a sign saying the rest rooms would be renovated as suggested. We're still waiting. The staff is friendly as always and they now have good, free Wi-Fi but many sites are not level and the water pools in the same spots in the road it has for years. I've long been partial to Roamers and hope the trend gets turned around.

Very nice park still under construction. Pluses - very personable desk lady and park host, good solid 50 Amp service, scenic sites built into the hillside. Minuses - spotty Wi-Fi, no cable yet, landscaping not complete, sites built into the hillside (requires going up and down a pretty good incline). Note on Wi-Fi - there were two available connections but the stronger signal would not connect to the net - local only. May have been a router problem but didn't bother to pursue it. Given the nice folks and what's been done so far, this park could be really great.

Date of Stay:

Convenient to I-95, about a mile off, for an overnight stop. Level pull throughs are narrow but sufficient for slides and awnings. Has good Wi-Fi, 50 amp, a reasonable price and view of the lake.

Probably the last time we'll stop here. Have liked it in the past but the locals are making it unusable for anyone else. Got a site in January but were few available for larger rigs. Tried to stop in early April and left in a hurry. Within a few sites - poor ones - of being a full house and numerous pre-teen kids racing around on golf carts and gators with no apparent supervision.

Small, very clean, and very friendly. Roomy sites with 50 Amp service (and good voltage levels) at no extra charge. Cable is excellent. Located in a very scenic, rural area. Not for you if you're looking for amusement parks or night clubs. If you want peace and quiet and a scenic area near a number of wineries and state parks, it's great. On a clear night there are more stars visible than in many parts of the Adirondacks.

Very easy access from Thruway and I-88. Park is wooded but laid out so the roads are easily navigated. Quite a few long term residents but all well kept. Excellent park for those desiring a little peace and quiet. There is a railroad track not too far away but it did not disturb sleep.

Wooded setting with paved roads and sites. Almost too wooded in some spots where trees are at the road end of the site making backing in a bit of a challenge. Sites are quite narrow but tolerable although the blacktop isn't necessarily level side to side nor front to back. Helpful & friendly staff. Wi-Fi was available at office, but speed was only fair. TV signal also pixilated at times. Staff blamed the clouds and satellite.

Date of Stay:

Very large (~60x90) back-in site had some shade as did others. Park is clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful. No sewers but there is a free pumpout with a 4-night stay so no biggie. Wi-Fi was only available near office. Point deducted for condition of interior roads, perhaps unfairly due to the large amounts of rain in the Northeast this year, and the limited Wi-Fi. However, I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Very nice park. Had a roomy, level, newly graveled pull through. Wi-Fi was fine. No cable but the cables are being run, looked to be largely done.

Very convenient off I-81, clean and well kept. Only problem is most sites are a little short for a truck with 36' fifth wheel. They fit, but the nose of the truck is starting up to the drive which is bit higher, so the rig isn't front to rear level if you stay hitched. Close enough to be tolerable for one night but not several. Had the same problem on a different site a year ago. TV and Wi-Fi are fine. About 1/2 mile from Flying J - but DON'T go to the "RV/car" area for diesel. It's tight, slow and only one diesel pump. Go to the North side of the truck area.

Overnight stop. Easy to find off I-26. Office (garage) parking lot had potholes but provided room to get turned around to go into the park. All sites are concrete pads, driveway dirt, but supposed to be paved in the second week of April. The TV and Wi-Fi were fine. Some road noise but not obtrusive with windows closed. The u-turn needed to exit onto I-26 was not doable for a dually with a 36' 5'er. Pulled up parallel to road in front of ball field and backed into driveway to turn around. Would have been a hassle in traffic, OK on Saturday morning.

Used as an overnight stop on the way home from Florida. Nice, perfectly level and long pull through, able to stay hooked up for the night. A bit damp but considering I'd had to pull over and wait out a cloudburst earlier, lakes would have been understandable. Well kept facility. Wifi and TV were fine.

Date of Stay:

More seasonals than transients but most in great shape. Park is well maintained with mix of paved and unpaved roads, trees and large green areas in each row plus multiple play areas. Very good wi-fi and cable. Less than a mile to Cape May beaches and easy flat terrain for walking or biking, many of the roads have marked bike lanes. Good 50 amp service but electric heaters and electric water heaters are banned.
