Clarksville RV Park & Campground, Clarksville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean, well kept park. The rest rooms and showers were excellent. The pool was seasonal so it was closed when we were there, but it looked very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. WiFi was included and it worked well. Over the air TV reception was fine using a digital converter box. The only issue we had was the interstate noise. We would stay here again. We camped at Clarksville RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Blueberry Hill RV Resort, Bushnell, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very nicely maintained park. We stayed in the pull through area because we wanted a paved pad. The Park is located right across the street from a Wal-Mart which was both good and bad. We found it convenient for groceries and bottled water, but the car/truck noise was a bit of a distraction at times. The pool, recreation hall and showers were top rate. There were plenty of things to do in the Park but other than the flea market in Webster, the surrounding area was a little dull. Internet access was provided by "WiFiFee" and you need to contact them to discontinue service when you leave the area or they will continue to bill your credit card. A previous post commented on the lack of TV reception. When using our regular antenna and a digital converter box we received at least four networks. The staff and snowbirds were all friendly during the week we were here and we would return. We camped at Blueberry Hill RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Arrowhead Campsites, Inc., Marianna, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived after dark and finding the entrance was a little difficult. The staff at the desk were friendly. We had a little trouble finding the road to our site, signs we not lighted and hard to read. This is a Campground and not an RV Park so dirt roads and pads are normal. I wish they had internet access available. I had a tire problem and they directed me to a tire repair place where I received immediate attention. I'm sure if you had kids and the weather was warmer you would have a great time here. We camped at Arrowhead Campsites, Inc. in a Fifth Wheel.

Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort, Panama City Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for two weeks in March of 2007 and had such a nice time we went back for two weeks this year. The park is beautiful and well maintained. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They were having problems with their Internet connection while we were there and are in the process of making changes to improve service. There is an extra charge for WiFi and cable TV. The place is very pet friendly. The pool and hot tub were very nice. Zoo World is next door so don't be surprised to wake up in the morning to the sound of a lion roaring. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Ozark / Fort Rucker KOA, Ozark, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here two different times going to and from Florida. The staff was friendly and helpful. The WiFi worked great. The pool is seasonal, so it was not available in March. We will plan on staying here again when we are in the area. They offer Good Sam Club discounts but you will need your card number. Unlike most campgrounds they have a Bomb Shelter (remember the 1960's) which is available during severe storms. N31.48805 W085.68722 We camped at Ozark / Fort Rucker KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nrn Highland American Lgn State Forest, Crystal Lake Area Campgrounds, Boulder Junction, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

This is boondocking at it's best. If you want to camp it does not get any better than this. Most sites are large, but few are perfectly level, so bring blocks. The roads are narrow and backing into sites can be a bit of a challenge if you have a large RV. The reservation web site lists site details. This place fills up fast, you have to book almost a year in advance. There are miles of paved bicycle trails and nice sandy shore lines. We camped at Nrn Highland American Lgn State Forest, Crystal Lake Area Campgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Duck Creek RV Park, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The owner was very nice, but this place was a dump. Most of the sewer connections were missing covers. Some had broken pieces of patio block covering them, one had a stuffed animal shoved into it. It smelled. The were what appeared to be many junked campers and vehicles. We will not be going back. I don't know how it received a WWWW rating. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
