Foothills Family Campground, Forest City, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The owners are very friendly. The campground is very peaceful ,and the sites are very roomy. We have camped here several times over the past few months, and always look forward to the next visit. They have activities planned on the weekends during the traditional camping season that include activities for children and adults. While we were here this weekend, they had an easter egg hunt for the kids along with a bonfire. We look forward to the future activities they have planned because we always have a good time. We camped at Foothills Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Wonderful park. the sites are small but private. You have access to a wonderful beach and nice hiking trails. Many things to do around the area. Highly recommend having a/c if you camp in the summer. We camped at Little Talbot State Park in a Motorhome.

Twin Lakes COE, Clemson, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $19.00

Great park. Sites are very spacious and many of them are on the lake. The lake is very low due to the drought. Make sure you bring your own firewood. We camped at Twin Lakes COE in a Travel Trailer.
