Strawberry Park, Preston, Connecticut

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I agree with the positive reviews listed earlier but as a dog lover I found the park policy of not allowing a dog to be walked in the park very disturbing. You have to transport your dog via car to a gated area outside the park for his constitutional. There must be fifty signs in the park prohibiting dog walking while there did not seem to be one with street names or spot numbers. We camped at Strawberry Park in a Motorhome.

Red Apple Campground, Arundel, Maine

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Red Apple is typical RV camp near a resort area. It is very cramped and mostly seasonal. The spaces are very close together with no trees or bushes between the sites and very little separation or privacy. We were very disappointed at the camp not having cable TV. The camp allows dogs but there are no paths or trails to walk them. The camp is very quiet, clean, well run and very convenient to charming Kennebunkport but basically you have a parking space. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.
