We camped in the "older" section of the park and the sites are very close together. There are a large number of permanent campers in the park. The grounds need attention, cigarette butts all over the place, found some vehicle gaskets on my site. Can't walk your dog because of the "goats heads" all over the green area of the park. Noted that there was an excessive amount of dog droppings at edge of green areas, probably because dogs refused to walk on goats heads but the owners obviously were not picking up after the dogs and park management is not either. There is a new section that has wider sites and some privacy. We would recommend staying in the new area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is useless.

Stopped here for a night and stayed three months. They have a nightly "social" hour and the owner is a active participant. The park has activities every day and they are well done. Music night and tours of local venues. Probably the best park we have stayed in after camping for 20 years. Don't miss this one.

Nice quiet park, not handy to the Interstate. Sites are level, but sewer connection is higher than your coach drain on nearly every site. Verizon phone was almost useless here and using your own satellite was impossible because of trees. Park is not maintained as well as it should be. Water faucets have been run over. We had no water pressure at our site and the manager had to bring a hose down and run it from a site 25 yards away from ours.

An old campground that should be retired. It was full of oil field workers and the spaces are narrow and the roads are bad. The staff was not friendly. We stayed because we were tired and it was on the way but will never come back. No internet even thought they said they had Wi-Fi.

Old location with very narrow sites. We had to close our windows because of people outside smoking. Staff was friendly but we will not stay again. TOO CRAMPED!

This is one of the cleanest and best kept parks that we have stayed in. The manager and the office staff go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable. We have stayed here in the past and appreciate the fact that they do not allow parties and quite frankly that the place is not kid friendly with playgrounds, etc. It is a wonderful place for adults to stay because it is immaculately maintained and the staff is friendlier than most other RV camps that we stay in. This rates better than a 10!!!

Roads are very dusty, fine dust covered our camper and truck after just one day. Permanent residents don't adhere to speed limits and create a fog of dust. Lot of cigarette butts on the grounds, pieces of paper, broken light fixtures. Grass is in bad shape. Could be a nice park with some attention to detail. The staff in the check in area were very friendly.

Park is very well taken care of. Sites are close and there is a lot of mud in the "upper park" area when it rains. The WiFi is useless and Verizon Broadband service in the park is non existant.

Nicely laid out, but unfriendly check in and dirty sites. Oilfield workers partied half the night and the semi trailers coming in and out for the truck stop was endless. Dust and noise. Would not stay again. We could not get into the state park, but found another small site nearby.

Great camping place. Has a keyed entrance; level concrete pads; friendly staff. They place campers every other space during slower times so folks are not all jammed together. A few permanent rigs, but a very quiet park. There is a little noise from I-70 but not bad. We would stay again, many times over.

Nice setting but the park is poorly maintained. Fire rings had garbage. Layout is very poor, hard to find a good pull through if you are high profile as the trees are not well trimmed. Site was far from level. For $14 it's hard to complain, but the city could do so much better with a little effort and get more $ for the sites.

This was a unique find!! We wanted to get into the Balmorhea State Park but they were full and suggested that we try Laird Ranch. This campground has one 50/30 AMP level site with water and sewer and then offer camping for two units with 110 volt needs and ample tent camping at $10 per night. They have a very clean restroom. We don't believe that many have discovered this spot. We camped and were all by ourselves on 5 acres. Beautiful view of the mountains. You need to call the Laird's to gain access to the campground. Nice folks that own it. I believe that the campground is a hobby. Would be a nice place for a family reunion, has a shade area with picnic tables and fire rings. Just one full hook up though.

Stayed here because of ratings in RV Park Reviews. What a terrible experience. Stayed in #18 on the end. No patio: just driveway stones and people walking and riding bikes through the area outside our door until 10 PM. Dog waste all over the place which made for even more flies. They seem to have dog rules in their brochure but all the "permanent" residents bring their pooches down to 18 to do their thing!! The park is in disrepair. The owners are nice but this doesn't make up for the FILTH!!! This park butts up to another mobile home park that had loud noises and partying. I would have driven another 100 miles to avoid staying in this mess, had I known!!!

Very friendly staff. Clean campgrounds, Quiet.

Dogs running loose. Dog waste at the campsites. Unfriendly staff. Move down the road to the KOA or Overnight RV.
