Silver View RV Resort, Bullhead City, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a second review, as this park has really gone downhill. New Management/ Staff clueless (with exceptions). No customer service, office only open M-F 9-5; manager never available. Sites never cleaned or raked, lots of weeds. No shade. No picnic tables, or fire rings. Very dusty. WiFi? Good luck. Cable works, sometimes. Water has a very high mineral content; use a softener. Bring a long sewer hose; connections at rear of site. Expect wind; use awnings at your own risk. There is a store/deli; overpriced and food is dodgy. When its not windy, you can be outside. We camped at Silver View RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Average park. Gravel sites, mostly level, and a little tight. Power is 123 volts and holding. Water pressure is fine. Roads are narrow, and maneuvering is only a bit tricky. Since it is named Snake River RV, one would hope to see some water, but no. Friendly and quick check in. Pool is empty and taped off. Some permanent residents, who have expanded their site into others; typical. Long term residents also like to cut through sites, both empty and occupied. Not bad for an overnight; just don't have high expectations. We camped in a Motorhome.

RedRock RV Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Spectacular setting. Park is 5 miles off the Hwy. Well worth it. Good power, some of the best water anywhere. Quiet. Very friendly staff. 1 mile from Henry's Lake. Small store with very basic camping and fishing supplies. Come here with all the stuff you need. We were transiting thru and could only stay one night, but we WILL stay here again, and longer. Very close West Yellowstone. We camped at RedRock RV Park in a Motorhome.

Golden Spike RV Park, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff, clean, well manicured, quiet. Everything worked as promised. If sites were just a tad bigger, we could have stayed awhile. But they are just big enough to get slides out. Long pull through. And a really good "vibe". Will stay here again, and for a few more days. We camped at Golden Spike RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cedar Breaks RV (formerly Country Aire RV Park), Cedar City, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

A nice campground, but pricey. $38.40 with Good Sam discount. Wi-Fi didn't work more than 15 minutes. Big rig access? Yes and No; it's certainly doable for our 40 footer, but bigger? Hmm. A little tight. Even woman at front desk said, " You're the biggest rig I have seen pull in here." Not bad for an overnight. We camped at Cedar Breaks RV (formerly Country Aire RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Wahweap RV and Campground, Page, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Spectacular! This a great experience. We were in Loop A, "turnout" style pull through. Curbside faces Lake Powell; awesome views. Good power (steady at 122v) and water pressure. Wi-Fi works, a little spotty though. Lots of activities here. Gets a point deducted because they made an error with our reservation and overcharged us, and the site was not as clean as it should have been; many cigarette butts in the fire ring, as well as some trash. If you do take part in the resort activities, or even venture out for a meal or a cocktail, plan on spending 25% percent more than listed prices; there are hidden "taxes" in everything. But don't let that sway you from this fantastic place. We camped at Wahweap RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Kanab RV Corral, Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean and neat, gravel sites. Pull-thrus are decent size, but other sites are extremely tight. We could pass the Grey Poupon to our neighbor. Forget awnings, or any outdoor furniture. There is a small picnic table. Power is fairly stable; but voltage can fluctuate from 117 to 122. Water pressure is very good. Very friendly staff. Pool not open as of this date, nor are any of the amenities, except the pet run and laundry. This is the only decent RV park in Kanab. We camped at Kanab RV Corral in a Motorhome.

El Mirador RV Park, Huatabampito, Sonora

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful location on Sea of Cortez. Beach camping with FHU. Friendly staff, and best seafood restaurant in Sonora. No nightclubs or noise at night. A bit inconvenient to find. Make sure you use electric system protection. Environment is beautiful, but harsh on your RV. We camped at El Mirador RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sonora RV Park, Hermasillo, Sonora

Date of Stay: December, 2007 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We had a great stop here, only RV park in Hermosillo. Very well put together by Fausto, a mainstay in Mexico RV parks. We will return, and spend some time exploring Hermosillo, and not just "rush to the beach". We camped at Sonora RV Park in a Motorhome.

Totonaka RV Park, San Carlos, Sonora

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nice and easy location, so we stayed a month. Never noticed noise for the nightclub; we have soundproofing though. Sites in various states of repair/disrepair; electrical components are cannibalized from site to site. Mostly 15 amp breakers, with 15 and 30 amp outlets. Voltage runs from 132 -137 volts, bring protection. Good WiFi. Some biting bugs, near the back (the quiet sites). Can be tricky for big rigs, but doable. Friendly and helpful staff; hand washed and waxed MH for $60USD. Good Mexican park. We camped at Totonaka RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lakeside Casino & RV Park , Pahrump, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Planned on a week, stayed for 2 weeks. Would have stayed longer, but had commitments. This is the way an RV park should be. 10 degrees cooler than other spots in Pahrump (lake effect). Nice sites, easy access. Good little casino, great buffet. Weekends can be noisy with ATVs and kids, but only a minor annoyance. Will stay here again. We camped at Lakeside Casino & RV Park in a Motorhome.
