We stayed here overnight on our way back from a family vacation in Florida. The campground has long pull throughs so we were able to keep our truck hooked to our camper during our stay. Camp sites were paved and had trees that provided shade. A nice, clean park, I would stay here again if I was in the area.

This is a very nice, well maintained park. The staff is very friendly and very service oriented. Sites are large and easy to get in and out of. We stayed here over the busy Christmas season, but even though the park was filled to capacity all the facilities were spotlessly clean and the campground was always quiet. My only complaint with this campground is the WiFi service, the service was weak and when I was able to connect the service was very, very slow ... it is the slow WiFi that caused me to lower my rating of the park to a 9 instead of a 10.

This is a small campground located beside the Budget Host Motel. You check into the campground in the front lobby of the motel. The campground is not fancy, but offers full service 50 amp sites and a clean bathhouse facility. As an overnight stopping point it offers easy access to I-75 and there is a small truck stop right across the street that you can refuel at. The campground has four "pull through" sites but due to tight turns into the sites I couldn't get into them with a 40 ft fifth wheel. Fortunately the campground is fairly open in the center and the pull through sites are easy to back into. This is not a campground that I would want to spend a weekend at, but as an easily accessible overnight campground it was a good value for the money.

Campground is located about a mile outside of the town of Curtis on the shores of the Big Manistique Lake. Rating is for the larger pull-through campsites in the front of the park, which are large and nicely treed. The smaller campsites in the front of the park are close together and would probably only rate a 7. The campground is clean and well maintained and the owners are very friendly.

Park has a very nice view of the Mackinaw Bridge and Lake Huron. I prefer the 50 amp sites in the back of the park as they have a nice view of the water and bridge and are far enough from the road that there is no road noise. These sites are large enough for a 40 ft fifth wheel and are wider than the sites at the front of the park. The park does not have any sewer sites, which is a negative for me, but we stay here every time we come to Mackinaw City because of the view and the friendly owners.

We stayed overnight in this campground when returning from vacation. I requested and was provided a long pull-through so that I did not have to unhook my camper. Campground was clean and well cared for and the office staff was friendly, making this a good campground for an overnight stay. The campground does have one strange feature : The entry road to the larger sites is before the office making it necessary to back up to make the turn into the road. While it is a straight back-up with longer units your camper will end up backing onto the main road so it is important to watch for traffic (fortunately it is a rural road with little traffic).

We stayed overnight at this campground on our way home from vacation. The campground has long, level pull-through sites and the staff was friendly and helpful. The directional signs for the campground are small and easy to miss and I had difficulty finding the campground in the dark. This was compounded by the fact that my GPS did not locate the campground and gave inaccurate directions (not the campground's fault but worth being aware of).

We stayed in this park for 17 nights while visiting Durango and Silverton. The park staff were friendly and very helpful. The park is well maintained with many flower beds and nice views of the river. The sites in the park are long enough to accommodate larger RVs but are not very wide. The park has a nice pool that is kept clean and warm.

Park was well laid out and access to the sites was easy, even for larger units. Pull through sites are long and spacious, I was able to keep my truck connected to my 40 ft fifth wheel for an overnight stay. Campground was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Only negative for this park is that there are no directional signs off of the freeway telling you where to turn (Mynard Rd is directly across from the Cenex truck stop (you make a left turn onto Mynard Rd when coming off the freeway). You follow the road around for a quarter mile and the campground entrance is on the left. The campground entrance itself is signed and easy to spot from Mynard Rd.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Durango. The park is aesthetically pleasing with paved roads and paved sites, but also has a few draw backs. The roads are tight and narrow and while I was able to get to my site, it required careful maneuvering of my 40 ft fifth wheel. The pull through site was long enough to remain hooked up during my stay, but the paved pad was not level so I did have to use leveling blocks to get level side to side. One feature I particularly dis-like is the pull though sites are set up with shared common areas so the doors of the campers point toward each other. I prefer not to face my neighbor when I am sitting at my picnic table. While this campground worked well for an overnight stay I would probably not select this park for a longer duration stay.

We stayed here on our way home from out west. The campground has good access to the freeway. The campground staff was friendly and was able to accommodate my request for a long pull through so I would not have to unhook my truck. The sites in this campground are level and utilities are logically placed, but they are closely packed together. The campground does not have fire rings ... if you want to have a campfire you need to rent an above ground fire pit from the office. Because of its easy access to the freeway this campground makes a good overnight stop but because of how close the campsites are together I probably wouldn't stay here more than a couple of days.

We stayed here for two weeks while visiting South Dakota. This is a very nice campground with large spacious sites. Campground staff was friendly and the campground was very clean and well maintained. The campground is divided into several sections ranging from wide open flat grasslands to heavily shaded treed areas. It is important to review the campground website and make sure the area of the park you are placed in meets your needs (i.e. some of the areas do not have bathhouses and are far from the office and pool). Also be aware that the wireless internet coverage is spotty and the service is slow in the campsites. There are internet connections in the office that are faster and more reliable. The site we were on was not overly level and required several boards under the tires in able to get the camper level.

We stayed here overnight while travelling out west. Campground accommodated my request for a long pull through so that I would not have to unhook my truck. Staff was friendly and the campground and pool were well maintained. There were lots of activities for the kids (playground, jumping pillow, rental bikes). The campground provided us free pancakes and sausage for breakfast in the morning. The sites were fairly close together (somewhat typical of KOAs that we've stayed at) but were level and gravel with well maintained utilities.

This was a nice clean park that had easy access to I80. We stayed here one night while travelling out west. Campground was clean and had large, easily accessible sights. Sights were level and had plenty of gravel for good drainage.

We stayed at this campground for 16 nights while visiting the Wisconsin Dells. The campground is well maintained and has very nice facilities. The main bathhouse is reasonably new and is meticulously cleaned ... one of the cleanest campground restrooms I have ever visited. The staff at the campground was very friendly and answered any questions we had about the local area. Sites are large and well laid out. I believe that full hook-up sites 36, 37, 39, 41, and 43 are the nicest in the campground due to their large size and the fact that they do not back up to other sites making them relatively quiet. The sites near the front of the campground that circle the mini-golf are nice size but are nosier due to their closeness to the main road. All in all this is one of the nicest campgrounds I have ever stayed at and I would definitely choose this campground again when staying in the Wisconsin Dells.
