Small Country Campground, Louisa, Virginia

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Office was closed when we arrived however the managers we're quick to re-open the office and get us settled in for the evening. A bit off the beaten track but friendly unique little place. We were only there one night and had to move on but will keep this place on our list for the future. Our satellite didn't work here but they did say they were working on getting Wi-Fi. Seemed to be a few locals camping at the same time, very friendly place. We camped at Small Country Campground in a Motorhome.

Sun-N-Fun RV Resort, Sarasota, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2008 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful Pool with hot tubs, Tiki bar and lots of activities for the young and old. Friendly, clean park. Office was always very busy more of a 'business' than an RV park. Front desk attendants could be friendlier however, we all have our days. The word Resort suits the place well. We camped at Sun-N-Fun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Woodhaven RV Park of Halifax, Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent WiFi. Excellent owners who understand RV'ers. Each day of our stay, the staff had suggestions for a whole days adventure that we usually followed. This is great when you're in a new area and don’t know where to begin touring. Quite park, Very clean bathrooms, pool was not open at our time of stay, apparently there was a crack in the liner and it was being repaired. We planned to stay for 3 night we ended up staying 2 weeks! The owners son was quite the little fisherman, each day he came home with his ‘catch of the day’ He gave us some of his fresh mackeral very delicious. These personal touches mean a lot. We will return. We camped her in a 5th wheel. We camped at Woodhaven RV Park of Halifax in a Fifth Wheel.

Sunburst Vacation Village RV Park, Largo, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2007 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very unorginized. We stayed here for 5 days and moved sites each day due to the office over booking etc. We planned to stay for a month but the moving sites especially in a 5th wheel got to us! Far too many trees with leaves dropping all over your rig made everything look dirty. We camped at Sunburst Vacation Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
