Strawberry Park, Preston, Connecticut

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $78.00
Overall Rating:

We have a family of 6 and we have used Strawberry Park for over 15 years. We started with tenting and have moved up (as the children grew) to their park model homes. There are more things to do for the kids (soccer, water polo, volleyball, Frisbee golf) than they can imagine - also plenty to do for the little ones too. Adults have a separate pool to use. Just 15 min. away (if you choose) are Foxwoods and Mohegan Casinos, 25 min. more are the Rhode Island beaches. But why leave because you have everything there - the staff is beyond friendly everything is always clean (bathrooms and all) and the other campers respect each other - our highest recommendations to stay here. We camped at Strawberry Park in a Campground Cabin.

Fishermen's State Park and Campground, Narragansett, Rhode Island

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

My wife camped there with our 2 daughters and it was a very good place to stay as a base then go to other daytime activities and locations if you want to sight see (which they did). The facilities are quiet and clean. Bathrooms are clean and people were very nice. We camped at Fishermen's State Park and Campground in a Tent.
