Four Mile Creek State Park, Youngstown, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Great New York State park! Site was wide and needed only minor leveling. Check in was a breeze, nice and helpful staff. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring, too hot during our stay to have a fire. Would stay here again. We camped at Four Mile Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Fort Niagara is very close and worth the visit. Also at the Fort is a shuttle that will take you to the falls and attractions in between, and its free this year. Lockport NY is 30 minutes away, and the tour of the locks by boat was a great time. Oh don't forget the winery's.

Sampson State Park, Romulus, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very good State Park. The Sampson Military Museum is right at the park and was a great start to our stay here. This park also has a beach, docks and boat ramp. Lots of wineries in the area. Corning Glass Museum is about one hour away and is worth the trip. We camped at Sampson State Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Erie State Park, Brocton, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed this State Park. The sunsets over the lake were awesome! Would have rated it higher but the bathrooms are dated and need to be upgraded. This park is close Dunkirk NY. We enjoyed the lighthouse museum tour. It is also close to many winery's, Noble winery has a Great view of the Lake Erie. We camped at Lake Erie State Park in a Motorhome.

Space Coast RV Resort, Rockledge, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We have been here before, Encore owns this property now. Also owns the mobile home park next door. At the time we were here Barnes Blvd. was under construction, only one way to enter park. They had signs posted for detours. Price is reflects weekly rate. Bathrooms & showers were very clean. No open fires allowed in Bevard county. We camped at Space Coast RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pymatuning State Park, Andover, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We are here often and it one of our favorites! Site 340 right on the lake, although you will need some leveling blocks at this site. An eagle nesting site is very close and we saw them soring over the campsite. Electric only at this site. We camped at Pymatuning State Park in a Motorhome.

Great, quiet State Park. Stayed at spot 2: no need to level. All the sites and roads looked to be recently paved. We camped at Camp Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

The Park Ranger was very helpful. This is a small park: only 30 some acres. Very clean. We had a site that overlooked the Edisto River. We will visit again. We camped at Colleton State Park in a Motorhome.

Sebastian Inlet State Park, Melbourne Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is another great Florida State Park. Spots 1 thru 14 are close together but on the Sebastian Inlet with only the boat launch road between you and the water. If you like fishing, walks on the beach, great sunsets, and the show at night with the stars can't be beat. Would have scored better but the no-see-ums, little bugs that bite. Bring your Off. We camped at Sebastian Inlet State Park in a Motorhome.

Punderson State Park, Newbury, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice Ohio State Park that we have stayed at before. The staff was great as always. They had a ice cream social and very nice nature programs for all, including a night nature walk. We will be back before years end. This park would get a 10 if it had 50 amp service and the rest rooms had a face lift, though the bath houses were very clean. We camped at Punderson State Park in a Motorhome.

West Branch State Park, Ravenna, Ohio

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice and clean, it was a warm weekend 80+ which is hot for Ohio in April. Not all of the parks sites were open when we checked in but as the campers kept on coming it seemed that the staff opened another section. Staff was very patient with the large early season crowd and the pesky computer gremlin that held up the reservation process. We camped at West Branch State Park in a Motorhome.
