Date of Stay:

An excellent clean campground that is easily accessible off the frontage highway to I-25. Very little road noise. Quiet and clean. Staff was very helpful. Even though we arrived just at closing, they cooked a pizza for us and delivered it to our 5th wheel. The only weakness to the campground was no gravel in the campsites but rather a dirt base. This weakness was made up for by the campgrounds' proximity to Santa Fe and the numerous cedars/pinions in the campground. Wi-Fi was free! We stayed two nights and will definitely return.

One of the best KOA's we have stayed in. VERY CLEAN. Gravel with cement drive pads make the sites incredibly level. Trees provide shade...a rarity in New Mexico campsites. We arrived after closing but had NO problems finding our site...a nice welcome packet was left for us. Beautiful view. We only stayed one night but will make this a definite stop on our next trip based on some people in another site who had nothing but praise, confirming our impressions.

This is one of the cleanest, friendliest and easiest to maneuver in RV Parks we have stayed in. The pool, hot tub, and laundry facilities are great. They charge $5 for the extra water to wash an RV. Internet is provided by Tengonet $4/night or discounts for longer. Staff is especially helpful. Lots of full-timers stay here for a few weeks at a time. The only downside to the park is it location in Benson. Benson is centrally located but not the type of town that we like to explore. The friendliness of the "natives" makes Benson tolerable. I cannot recommend an RV park higher than Cochise Terrace.
