Older campground with many permanent trailers on site. Owner is phasing them out to make improvements and renovate. Owner was very accommodating and friendly. No satellite friendly sites. I have Dish Network, and the best I could get was two of the three satellites, but not the HD satellite, and only way in the back. Another campground that advertises free Wi-Fi that is next to unusable. Electric was low and had problems that the owner quickly tried to address. No credit cards, only cash or checks.

I stayed in the newer section, which had a good sized site. Most sites are on the large side with much tree cover. Gravel and dirt interior roads and sites. Nice size dog park. If you have satellite, make sure you request a site that will allow the use of your dish. Water pressure very low. I used my tank and pump. Good electric. Wi-Fi was poor and dropped out frequently, finally switching back to my Verizon. For what I payed for low water pressure and unusable Wi-Fi, I feel I was ripped off.

Park is very nice with dirt interior road and site. Wifi useless. Shopping can be walked to. Clean and well maintained. Have satellite so cannot comment on tv reception.

Nice sites except dusty pad and interior road. Nice dog area, fenced. Wifi is useless but free. Frozen pizza delivered to site. Nothing nearby. NOTHING.

Large, level sites with bench and fire pit. Gas & diesel on premises with fair prices. Verizon voice and data excellent. Visual is nice and large. Water park across the street. Should not advertise free wifi, as it is useless. Very slow when available. Two dog parks that need grass (weed) cutting. Basically not useable for small dogs. Walking path around lake is gravel. Grass (weeds) need lots of work just to be able to walk on it. Very clumpy. Price reflects weekly rate. I would return.

Another one of those parks that state "free" Wi-Fi. It is, but each day I am here I get a new password, and I can only hookup one device! Speed? I ran a test because it dragged. 145 ping, .014 download, 0.04 upload. This lowered my overall rating. But it is free. The park overall is very nice with roomy sites. Grassy areas where the bench is. Level gravel sites and roads. My GPS took me here with no problems. Rate is total with Good Sam discount. Unfortunately, the tax washes out the discount. I would stay here again.

Park itself is great. It is very large with lots of recreation, but..... $38 per night plus an $8 per vehicle, rv and tow, entrance charge for a total of $54 per night makes this a very expensive campground. But that's not all of it. Wifi is non-existent and water pressure was so low I switched on my pump.

The Good: Beautiful setting. Large, long, level pull throughs. Nice large off-leash park. The Bad: Dirt, dirt and more dirt. Very dusty. I hate parks that advertise free WiFi that are almost useless. Why should the wifi be useless when I pay $70 per night! The WiFi actually disconnected while I was writing this review. Download was less then 0.5mb. Price includes Good Sam discount. Would try different parks when I return to area.

To give this campground a higher rating based on the location and being the only CG would not be fair to good campgrounds. This was doable at best. Very sandy, red, and gets in everything. Wifi was spotty and slow when you could use it. Verizon data was non-existent. Voice/text were OK. Price was high for what you get. My 45' RV was able to negotiate the roads and site.

Overall, this is a very nice park and well maintained. A grassy, fenced dog area with doggie bags is very nice and clean. Site is gravel as is the whole park. Not a dusty gravel. But, WiFi was slow and was shut down for a day by provider. Claimed someone was downloading illegally. Not sure what that meant. Had problems with 50 amp service. Worker claimed the park was built 30 years ago for RVs with one a/c unit. Mine has 3 a/c's plus it is all electric so generator kicked on when voltage dropped very low (105). I would come back.

I have stayed here several times while visiting my son and his family, so overall, it's a good campground, BUT, because it is a dusty gravel and you tend to track it in AND the Wi-Fi is TengoInternet, I have downgraded my rating. Verizon is strong, but if you advertise Wi-Fi, let everyone know it will allow some surfing and checking email, it won't allow much more before it strangles the speed to useless. Based on these two items, I won't stay here again.

Add another triple 10 review! What a place. Quiet and elegant at the same time. Stately. Staff to match. Without a doubt, one of the best places I have ever stayed!

Near the highway and that's the highlight of it. Only stayed one night but it is cramped with barely enough room to extend my slides without hitting my neighbors awning. If sat TV is required, ask for front sites. Current road construction makes leaving the park and getting back on the highway very difficult. Must drive several miles out of the way to make a u turn in Walmart or go one exit west. Dirt and gravel with some grass in between.

Just a very short walk to the French Quarter and Bourbon St. High walled with security vehicle AND pedestrian gates. No amenities at most sites. Very well maintained. Paver bricks for paved areas. Good Wi-Fi and Verizon.

Very convenient to I10. Small, quite park. Excellent Wi-Fi and Verizon. Very friendly staff. We just relaxed.
