Overall Rating:

What a surprise, everything just right. All utilities worked how they supposed to. We couldn't pick up the WI-fi distance from site 13 was to far.Level pads, no road noise, great neighbors, friendly and helpful owners, TV, so-so.I highly recommend this park for a night or two, and we will stop again if close. We camped at Eagle Ridge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hill Shade RV Park, Gonzales, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This park is not a destination, but it is a very good place for a night or two. The sites were well kept and neat, the electric and water pressure were low but useable. Very good wi-fi ,tv reception and cell phone (verizon) .The RR and Shower were old and needed a good cleaning, didn't use them. The laundry was OK,$1.00 / machine. Management was great, very nice, but there were no discounts PERIOD. Easy to get to and leave and we will be back in our 5th wheel. We camped at Hill Shade RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Highland RV Park, Spooner, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first stay at Highland Park, and what a great surprise. It turned out to be the best RV park in the North-woods area. Everything in the park worked great along with great people which made the park so inviting that we extended our one week stay to four weeks. The pull through was level with all utilities in order. The lake was the best that we have been in. Good fishing and a sandy beach. Roads are all well kept, and the trees are also maintained. We can't say enough good things about the park and host. We recommend this park highly, and we will come back. We camped at Highland RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Prairie Oasis Campground and Cabins, Henderson, Nebraska

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $27.00

Nice location, wonderful host, and what we consider a great park. Quiet even though close to interstate; easy off and easy on. All utilities worked and the roads were gravel but in good shape. The sites were level and we had great shade. Verizon worked and the cell phones were good along with TV reception. We used the washers and driers and no complaint. All in all a very good park and we will return. We camped at Prairie Oasis Campground and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Sonny's RV Park, Lexington, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park is not a destination but it is a very nice park for resting a few days. The park is under different management and they don't honor the rates in their website or the discounts but it is still worth the rate. All the utilities were great, Verizon air card, and Verizon cell, and their Wi-Fi all worked great. Across the highway from the park is a grocery store with everything you will need. Gravel drive and our site #23 was level. At our site we had very little road noise. We will return. We camped at Sonny's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wanderlust RV Park, Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay here and had great services. All utilities worked, Wi-Fi and TV were OK , good level pads with nice shade. But the best part was the views, outstanding. Very friendly staff that was very helpful with route directions and the sites to see in town.We loved the trolley system that came to the park, use it, its great. The only reason that we didn't give this park a 10 was the lack of washers and dryers. There were only 3 washers and four dryers, and there was always a line. We plan to go back but stay longer next time. We camped at Wanderlust RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Branson Stagecoach Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a hard park for me to rate. The location was good easy in and out had good utilities, TV and air card worked. The host were rather reserve, not unfriendly but not friendly either. The RR and showers were old and not the cleanest. Sites were close enough with trees to be difficult to get out. We would return until we found another campsite. We camped at Branson Stagecoach Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Atlanta State Park, Atlanta, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

If people find out what a gem this park is, you won't be able to get a reservation. Clean, quiet, shady, level, everything we want and it's easy to get into and out. Don't know about TV or aircard as we didn't stay inside. We stayed for 2 days and next time we plan to stay for a week. We found nothing bad at this park from the time we checked in until we left. There are great park rangers, staff and visitors. We camped at Atlanta State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Ouachita State Park, Mountain Pine, Arkansas

We planned to stay for one night but stayed for 3.This turned out to be the best park in which we have ever stayed. Plenty of room from all sides and the cleanest park, no trash, dog droppings or dirty restrooms and showers: everything was spotless. The lake was beautiful with great trees. A very friendly host and all guests where very nice. We plan to return this next year, and to stay at least a week. Our satellite and aircard worked well. We camped at Lake Ouachita State Park in a Motorhome.

Brackenridge Park & Campground, Edna, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The best thing about this park is the restrooms and showers. They are at the top of the list in well-kept restrooms. The sad thing about this camp is the clutter all around the grounds. The walking area around the campsites are littered with cigarette butts, beer tops, bottle tops, etc. The circle campsites back into each other and the only good campsites don't have sewer hookups. The view of the lake was great, but the alligators kept us from going swimming. Yes, the lake has gators. Next time we will stay at the state park across the hwy. We camped at Brackenridge Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were impressed, with the very clean park, friendly staff, good roads and trimmed trees. The lake was low but very nice to look at and the wildlife was in plenty. We stayed 3 nights and plan to return when the weather cools off some. We parked at # 123 but we also liked #s 107-113.
