Pyramid Lake RV Resort, Gorman, California

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Pyramid Lake RV Resort is anything but a resort! We are at this location now, and it is in VERY poor condition. The trash in the dumpster is over flowing. We missed the turn-in completely because there was NO signage leading us to the park. The sewer opening is only for a small hose. It is really bad. We camped at Pyramid Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Jack's Landing RV Resort, Grants Pass, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

My only complaint about this park is that while they advertise WiFi, we almost never were able to access it from our site, number 34. When I mentioned it to management, I received a very "so what" type of response. Other than that, it is well kept. We camped at Jack's Landing RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The park is more like a resort and exceeds all of my requirements: landscaped pad areas, 50 amp, good water pressure, excellent store and laundry area, plus helpful staff. The price is $36 a night with tax and discount. We have a nice “end cap” site with a small cement pad outside our door. We won’t be using our awning, though! The wind would blow it back to Texas it is so strong. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain Road RV Park, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

It is “pricey”. Thirty dollars for a night, but with our Good Sams discount, it became $25, but because we were using 50 amps of electricity, $2 was added on, plus 52 cents for tax. The final discounted total was $27.52. The Wi-Fi is free. The water pressure is good. The pads are mostly dirt and some grave. Good for a stop-over, but I would not want to stay here long. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We really love this place and highly recommended it if you are traveling thru on 287. The rate is $25, or less with a club discount. The sites are large, well maintained, and they have good management. We camped at Ole Towne Cotton Gin RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Palo Duro RV Park, Canyon, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

There is nothing distinctive about this park. It is everything the previous reviewer mentioned. The change I noted is that the rate is $28 a night, or $25 with club discount. They are no longer honoring the web-site advertised $10 off, even though it still appears on the web page. We would stay here again. We camped at Palo Duro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bennetts RV Ranch, Granbury, Texas

Clean, well maintained new campground. Rural setting in a small town environment. Very friendly, family owned business. The internet is actually a ethernet cable, not wireless. Well lighted at night. Fenced area with grass and swing set, etc for children. Fully stocked store on site. Full service repair shop. If you need repairs, they will come to your site with no service call charge. Very honest folks. We camped at Bennetts RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.
