This is an outstanding campground that is maintained to perfection. The lower full hook up sites are very close together and very tight. We stayed in the Hill Top area, site 78 and were very pleased. Large site with water, electric and cable. A bit uneven but with blocking we were able to get the motorhome level. Very spacious sites. There is a freight train that runs by quite frequently but we were far enough away that it didn't really bother us. I am sure that if you were right up against the fence the noise from the trains would be a problem. There are some very nice sites down by the river(again no sewer) that we will probably look into when we stay again and we will visit again. The free shuttle to Hershey Park runs frequently and is the way to go when visiting the park. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful and we would highly recommend this campground if you are visiting the area. The pool was not open yet but there are two very large pools that looked well maintained. Overall this a 9+ and it will be one of our regular destinations.

We have camped here a number of times over the past few years and found this campground very pleasant and relaxing. If you are looking for a place to go with a lot of activities this is not the place. It sits on a hillside with a 'spectacular' view of the Lancaster area countryside. All of the premium sites are large and easily accessible with again, a view to die for. Cons are no store, no pool, no nothing else. In the heart of Amish country with plenty to see and do. If you are looking for a spot for some good old rest and relaxation this is the place. I know some others have posted some issues with some of the management, but in all of the times we have camped here we have never had any issues.

We camped here in the fall, and the campground was not very crowded. Nice wooded sites at the top of the hill. Sites were large and great space between them. The staff were very helpful; check in went smooth; they delivered fire wood to the site and in general were very accommodating. A lot of seasonals on the lower level, but everyone was gracious. Nice hiking trail that leads to a unique rock formation. We are camping here again this spring.

Ok park for a quick stop. Sites were very close together on the stream, a bit hard to maneuver our 31 foot motorhome. A lot of seasonals, and some were not well kept. The road to get to this campground is very hilly, windy and narrow. Manageable but you have to take it easy. Don't think we will camp here again. There are too many other really nice campgrounds in central pennsylvania.
