Lancaster / New Holland KOA , New Holland, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

We have camped here twice this year. It is the best view of the Amish farms you will find. This has become one of our favorite campgrounds. Not much to do at the campground if you bring kids, but there's plenty to do in the area. It's very clean and lots of peace and quiet. Just the sound of the occasional horse and buggy. The view is spectacular!!!! Can't wait to go back. We camped at Lancaster / New Holland KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

A great place to camp. The pool area is fantastic. Lots to do and plenty of activities for the kids. We ride a motorcycle and there are lots of places to ride in the area. Going back in July 2010 with the granddaughter and go to Knoebels which is close by. Not sure where the other negative reviews came from but nothing negative during our stay. We camped at Splash Magic Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The only thing we were not happy about here was the space between our camper and the one next to us. If we were to have a campfire it would have been very close to the neighbor's camper. Other than that this was a great campground. Very clean, quick check in and check out. Very close to everything and they have a shuttle bus to take you to Hershey park. We camped at Hersheypark Camping Resort (formerly Hershey Highmeadow Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Bull Island, Stockton, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. It sit on the Delaware river. It might be a little tight with a big trailer 40'. We had a 21' fifth wheel toy hauler and had no problems. We had site 15 which is a huge site and we parked 2 RV's on it. Site 44 is also another nice site. We camped at Bull Island in a Fifth Wheel.

Jenny Jump State Park, Hope, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

There are not many sites for an RV. Ours is 28' with no slideouts. I would say 30' would be the limit. We had site #26. The only other sites we would have considered are #28 and #20. You had to back 100' up a slight hill. If you are not good at maneuvering your camper this place is not for you. There are some inclines to haul up also. The privacy is great and the views on top of the mountain are awesome also. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We camped at Jenny Jump State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here for bike weekend. The staff was fantastic, sites were level. Very well maintained campground. We are booked for next year. We were in site 206. It was the tightest site along the back. We requested the site unseen so no error by the staff. We are booked for 208 next year. We camped at Gettysburg Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Maple Lake Campground (CLOSED), Jackson, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We drove through this camp ground. Lots of full time campers with some very old campers. The grounds were not kept up at all. Nice lake. Pot holes in the driveway area that you could lose a small car in. Talked to some locals and they said to stay away due to plenty of drugs and convicts. We camped at Maple Lake Campground (CLOSED) in a Tent.
