Rio Viento RV Park, Rio Vista, California

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This has to be the best RV park we have ever stayed at. The people were great the sites were clean and level. The area was peaceful. Can be tough to find but a gem when you do. Next to the river for fishers. Near enough to the Antioch to visit family, secluded enough to feel like you are far away. Forces you to be quiet and still. We needed to get away from the big city hustle. I can't wait for the next opportunity to get back there. We camped at Rio Viento RV Park in a Motorhome.

Paradise By The Sea RV Resort, Oceanside, California

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The staff were friendly. Assisted with taking me to my spot and backing the RV into the site. Real close walking distance to the beach and park. Stayed there to participate in Camp Pendelton Mud Run. Very convenient. Sites were clean and level. The only true complaint I can make is the train traffic in during the night/ early morning hours. Enough to disturb sleep, but I have been to far worse places (next to airports and freeways). I will definitely come back to this site. We camped at Paradise By The Sea RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Dockweiler RV Park, Playa del Rey, California

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great that it is next to the beach, but traffic or events at the state beach can make it difficult to get into the RV Park side. Staff was okay with service. Sites were decent, the airplanes flying all night and day over your site can be a little annoying. OK VERY ANNOYING. Bring earplugs. This made the stay poor, along with the neighbor with poor pet management of their pit bull. Not sure if I would come back to stay the night. We camped at Dockweiler RV Park in a Motorhome.
