Beech Camper & Mobile Home Park, Orange Beach, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

A very old park lots of permanent folks. Staff was nice but park was old and did not bode well for a 40 foot rig. Sites are small cracked concrete not all sites are 30/50 amp. Lots of trees and overhanging branches both at sites and during entrance. I won't stay here again a small rv or travel trailer would be OK. We did not use the facilities so I don't know what shape they are in. We camped at Beech Camper & Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.

Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park), Shreveport, Louisiana

Date of Stay: December, 2006 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here on the way to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl. The staff here could not be friendlier. Only complaint was the area was wet from recent rains and it was hard to keep sand/mud from being tracked in.All sites were concrete with grassy areas and picnic tables. This area is close to grocery stores and restaurants and we will definitely stay here again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park, Cordele, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here July 4-9/ Very crowded but because we reserved we were able to get a waterfront site. They close the gate at 10 PM so if you have evening plans do so early. Showers were OK but could have been cleaner. Golf course was great. Although no WIFI there is a nearby resort center and they have wireless at the convention center. Just a short walk or drive from the campsite. Work campers were very nice and helpful. Would reccomend this place the 4th Fireworks were super. We camped at Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park in a Motorhome.
