This a precious little gem in the rough. Small, clean, quiet. Satellite friendly sites with a general store within walking distance. Restaurants and big city nearby. Full hookups with laundry. Stayed on Passport America ($12.50 @night)for the two weeks allowed. Nice people and lovely area. Will return. Perfect! We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tall Chief RV Resort - Thousand Trails, Fall City, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a members only park and is overpriced for the benefits. We traveled here with a Coast to Coast member and even though we were allowed in, we were not welcome...and they made that very clear. Paid cash and had to see management the next day for a receipt. Only 30AMP with no sewer hookup. The dump area had water running all around, so not sure if it was potable or not. Satellite TV is an issue since the spaces are in trees. They advise you to have a portable dish on a stand if you want satellite TV. The biggest thing that stood out to me was the unwanted feelings and no receipt if you pay cash. Beware...something going on here at this park. There is a very nice park at the same exit on I90, go to that one instead!! I will not return and will advise people the same. We camped at Tall Chief RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Fort Stockton RV Park, Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, little park in the middle of nowhere, Texas. Actually, traveling from San Antonio to New Mexico, this is the most logical place to stop. Friendly staff and nice wide, level sites, although just hard dirt. The beauty of this place is the "unknown" little restaurant they have. Called the "Roadrunner Cafe", they have breakfast and dinner, hours are limited but the food is GREAT! Would give it a higher number but the park is a little older and in some stages of renovation. All in all, will stay again when passing thru. We camped at Fort Stockton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wilderness Oaks RV Park (formerly Rockport 35 RV Park Resort), Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Airplane noise unbearable. Helicopter noise unbearable. Airport next door has Navy trainers flying all day and night. No refunds from management if you want to leave because of this. Would not stay again. Beware! We camped at Wilderness Oaks RV Park (formerly Rockport 35 RV Park Resort) in a Motorhome.

Crowded and tight, although a nice place overall. Many trees, so satellite may be an issue. Would stay again. We camped at Happy Traveler RV Park in a Motorhome.

Green Creek Inn & RV Park, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, well maintained, little place. Right on the highway, and strategically located in Wapiti, right in the middle between Cody and Yellowstone. Level sites, although gravel, full hookups and free wireless worked flawlessly. Owners were helpful and answer all questions. Gas station just up the road had the cheapest gas, which was nice. Would stay again and plan to this summer. We camped at Green Creek Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.
