Catalina Spa RV Resort, Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Not sure where the previous post was staying but we have never been assigned a site at this park. They always let us go in and pick a site and then notify office. (This is for everybody) Have never seen or heard of them escorting anyone to there site. We stay a couple of times every winter.
This campground is average for the area with there amenties and facilities. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Catalina Spa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Flag City RV Resort, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We we're looking for a nice spot to overnight on our way north. Picked this campground because of the long pull-throughs so we wouldn't have to unhook our tow vehicle. As we pulled in every looked top notch. After checking in and driving to the site every thing changed. A lot of the sites we're overgrown and looked in dire need. The sites had the hookups way too far towards the back to be able to use the hookups properly. I barely reached with 30' of sewer hose.

This place just isn't worth anywhere near the money they charge. If it rained we would have had to walk in the dirt to get around our coach, as the concrete pads are completely covered when the slides are out. We camped at Flag City RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resorts of Redding , Redding, California

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

The only reason I gave this a 9 instead of 10, was the price. If they dropped the price a little it would be perfect. Super friendly check in. Great pull through site with interlock block patio and a concrete pad to park on. The hookups were perfectly located. The sites were a good size and would not have to unhook tow if just overnighting. The grounds we're in great shape and really tidy. Access to the park from I-5 is easy, yet far enough away not to hear the traffic noise. We definitely would stay here again if passing through the area. This park just makes you want to stay for an extra day or two. We camped at Premier RV Resorts of Redding in a Motorhome.

A Country RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This park really is a gem; especially, for the price in California. From the friendly folks at check in, to the really nice clean park, it was a pleasure to stay here. We had a great pull though site where we didn't have to unhook our tow. The utilities we're laid out where they should be. The site was a good size with easy in and easy out. A lot of parks could take some lessons from these people. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Delta Shores Resort and Marina, Isleton, California

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Don't let the Resort part of it's name fool you. This is definitely not a resort park. The entrance into the park is really steep but doable. The sites are mainly grass and most are a foot lower than the roads, so if it rains plan on staying until things dry out. The sites really need to be graveled. The grassy area had so many holes in it you could easily twist your ankle if not careful. Add to that my EMS keep shutting down the power cause the electrical was putting out over 130 volts on our 50 amp site. Tried plugging into the 30 amp in the site beside us and had the same problem. The staff is friendly and the site sizes we're decent. We definitely would not come back. The price was for C2C with a $5 surcharge. (Even at $15 it was to high priced). Also, they should not have Marina in the name either as their docks are so old and worn out they won't let anyone on them anymore. The park has potential to be a good park, but it will take a lot of work. We camped at Delta Shores Resort and Marina in a Motorhome.

Needles KOA, Needles, California

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was a decent KOA. The full hookup sites were a good size for us. The sites are all gravel as well as the interior roads, so a little dusty. The hookups we're conveniently located. The staff we're great and friendly. The park had a nice feel and atmosphere to it. The pool was closed due to the winter season. There is a lot of open desert right by the park to take your dog for a walk or just go for a decent hike. You're right on old route 66. There's lots to see and do in this area. So we really enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Needles KOA in a Motorhome.

Cherry Valley Lakes RV Campground, Cherry Valley, California

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here under RPI, even at $10 a night this was no bargain. The sites are so narrow, when I put out my drivers side slideout, I couldn't walk between my coach and the neighbor's 5th wheel. You face your neighbor as the sites are doubled up face to face. The sewer hookup is so high and far back that I had to use my macerator pump and an extension hose just to dump. They are so high it would be virtually impossible to gravity drain our tanks. The road noise from I-10 was not only really loud, it never let up. The check-in staff was friendly enough and the park was kept fairly clean, although the roads and sites could use with some updating. I can't see us ever coming back here, unless absolutely necessary. We camped at Cherry Valley Lakes RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Columbia Sun RV Resort, Kennewick, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Just spent a couple of nights here, while the park isn't totally complete (80%), it was a great stay. Very easy in and out for our 44' Class A. The Sites are large with a good majority of the sites being pull throughs and we didn't have to unhook our jeep. The pool wasn't open yet, so we got an extra 10% discount reflected on our price. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Dinosaur Trail RV Resort, Drumheller, Alberta

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, although the grass was looking a little rough as it had been very dry in the area. Lots to do with the river right bedside the park and some nice walking trails. They charge for Wifi (didn't use it cause we have an aircard) Good entrance to the park with nice wide sites, with lots of shade trees (unless your in the new Arizona sites). The staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay there again. We camped at Dinosaur Trail RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Bridgeview RV Resort, Lethbridge, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

It's a nice park nestled in the Oldman River Valley. There's a nice grass section with large trees, and the newer section is all gravel. The majority of the sites are pull throughs. They have a nice store and have pancake breakfast's on Sundays in there clubhouse. The staff was very friendly and polite. Good signage to the campground. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. There is a little highway noise but it didn't really bother us. We camped at Bridgeview RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley, White Sulphur Springs, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground for a stopover, not much to do in the area, (which is why we didn't rate this campground higher) although the view surrounding the campground is nice. Wi-Fi worked well. Access is a couple of blocks on a gravel road from the highway. Gravel road interior. Sites are decent size (could be a little wider) with grass in between sites. Hookups are in the middle of the sites. The owners were friendly and seemed to try real hard. We would overnight here, but due to the lack of things to do in the area that's about all we'd do. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

Dick's RV Park, Great Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This was a decently nice campground that nicely served our needs while in Great Falls. The sites are nice and wide and pull through's for easy parking. They had gravel pads and nice grassy area between us and neighborer's along with picnic table. The cable worked good and the staff was friendly. It's located right in Great Falls and close to all amenities. We'd stay here again next time we're in Great Falls. We camped at Dick's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Billings KOA, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park and easy to get to. We had a pull through full hookup site, that had a concrete patio, fire pit, wood swing and picnic table. The campground was clean and nicely landscaped. It's right on the Yellowstone river with great views of the far bank and hills. Well stocked store and all facilities we're clean and neat. We stayed for 4 nights and would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Billings KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
