This was a very nice campground and I would recommend to others. The pool was a nice temperature, the skate/bike park was in great condition, nice newer playground, sites were nice sized, and the facilities were all very clean. We stayed on the lower level which was nicely shaded but unfortunately, Wi-Fi wouldn't come in at our sites. Showers were very clean: 25 cents for 4 minutes of shower so remember a few quarters in your toiletry bag.

We were very happy with this campground & plan to return. It is very close to downtown Dells. The pool was recently redone & a new splash pad which was nice looking. The restrooms were clean. I appreciated that they had several garbage pickups per day and security guards walking around at night. It seemed like a very family friendly campground. Staff was nice. Store was fine. They didn't have a ton of planned activities but seeing the campground is in the Dells - we didn't care. Our children enjoyed the outdoor movie at night. My only recommendation would be for another bathroom / shower area at the far side of the lower level.

This is an older property about 20 minutes from the Dells area. Restrooms & showers were fairly clean. The playground was very nice & new stuff recently added. This campground has a beer only bar. The wagon ride was awesome & the owners were very nice. Our sites were fairly unlevel but we managed. The kids didn't get much water play as the pool was too cold for the kids and so was the tiny lake due to weather. We didn't see any fish in the lake but there is a huge lake across the road. Paddler rentals were broken. Overall it was a good stay but please make the pool warmer.

We stayed in a park model. The campground was clean. The office was helpful and had normal necessary supplies. The lake was chilly but my children loved the floater offered. We say loons, dozens of chipmunks, and ducks. The playground was nice. Rentals (bikes, carts, etc) were reasonably priced. Many sites are very very woodsy. We didn't have any trouble with bugs as it was too cold.

I have heard they are strict on noise after dark. We were traveling with other families and we get kind of loud after the kids go to bed but I am happy to say, we did not have any problems. This is a small campground with very nice looking cottages near the camping sites. The beach is awesome and my dog loved doggie dip hours. I probably won't bring my dog next time because you have to give a $25 pet deposit and sign a form with their dog rules. While we love doggie dip hours, we couldn't bring our dog to the beach any other time of day and they did drive by in a cart to check when I walked my dog down to the beach. The playground was satisfactory, kids had fun, the 1-2 block walk to the falls was worth it - great photos. The sites were good sized, and the price was reasonable. We did the 1 hour $25 canoe trip which was perfect for all our young kids and they allowed my dog to come!

This is a great little campground. I thought it was a bit larger but they are in the process of adding more sites. I saw everything from big rigs to tents. We paid about $35 per night and a $3 per person fee. The pool was smaller in size, but very clean and good temperature. The jumping pillow was awesome for adults and kids. Playground was nice. The restrooms were immaculate (see photo) and they had small flower vase by each sink. The owners loaned us an electrical adapter because the box only had the big hookup connection. We enjoyed an ice cream social, hayride, and corn roast. All the staff had yellow KOA shirts (which was nice) and they were constantly cleaning /emptying trash. It was quiet at night and very family oriented. There aren't many nearby attractions for families but we were ok with that and stayed in the campground all weekend. The fishing pond had a few fish that we saw (2 big fish and some smaller fish) but we didn't catch anything - it was fun anyway. The store was clean, stocked for normal supplies, and reasonably priced. I would return again and recommend to friends for a nice smaller family weekend.

This really is a nice campground. It is very clean and family friendly. The sites with a view are best but book very early, up to 1 year ahead of time for weekends. The pool was a good temperature for Wisconsin August. The hot tub if for adults only. The beach was not a big beach; more of a small rocky area and a dock but my children loved it. I wish the beach sand areas was bigger. You can bring a boat to this campground. The only downside (beside the price) was that at night, about 1AM you can hear a train that is 2 miles away but fairly noisy with the stillness of the night. I would return to this campground as it has a pool, lake, & playground as well as clean restrooms.

I think we would have had a better experience if the restrooms were cleaner. This is an average campground, tucked away in the hills of Minnesota. The drive was very pretty. Our site was fairly level & sized average. Trees kept our site nice & shaded. There was a playground that our children enjoyed. The swimming pond was very cold as it is spring fed. There are rocks containing the water and grass around it. My kids were too cold and didn't want to swim, which made for a very long Saturday. The restrooms were pretty dirty on Friday & Saturday day but better in the evening. Hair on the shower walls, sinks, and big spiderwebs full of bugs on the ceiling. I know how difficult it is to clean a campground bathroom clean but the spiderwebs were there all weekend. The soap dispenser ran out so they put 1 bar of soap in a dish for everyone to share. There are recovering from a flood last year so the camp restaurant no longer exits and there are only port-o-potties near the swimming pond. Everyone was very nice but I don't think I'd return in a hurry.

We camped here in June 2008. The campground did not have a beach but it did have a nice clean pool. The pool was a fair temperature (slightly chilly for adults) which is to be expected in Wisconsin in June. The children loved it. Our site was shady with lots of trees available. The playground was average / nice and the children enjoyed it. The restrooms were average. The showers were concrete and OK. I saw them cleaned often with a hose so that made me feel good. The small camp store was helpful. My favorite part was how quiet it was past 10. This is a smaller campground which we enjoyed.

This campground is considered a "party campground" by local residents. We went with 2 other families and unfortunately picked "Poker Run - Harley Motorbikes" weekend. Not many campgrounds in the area have weekend openings so we went anyway. Despite some obvious problems (loud bar & a band playing till midnight) we had a good time. The pool was clean (someone told us the state just made them clean it- that makes me wonder). The bathrooms were fair - older - only 1 house and they were a bit grimy but usable. The playground was older but my kids still had fun. The Black river was awesome and kept all the children occupied the whole day. We fished but didn't catch anything, we swam, and built many sand creations. I would go again to give this place another chance.
