Long Ridge Campground, Hiawassee, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Small park. Owners are very friendly and helpful, best we have ever experienced. First name basis from check in. We had full hookups but no cable or tv reception. Owners are on site. They are waiting on cable to be installed soon. Sites are well laid out. Big rig sites are terraced and kind of close.
Park has tent sites and small rig sites grouped in separate areas.

We would come back again. We camped at Long Ridge Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

7 miles to fast food and Cracker barrel. Fuel is 2 miles on the way to the interstate.

Verify 50a or 30a before setup. The boxes are not marked. Also the owner is on premises but money is paid in a lock box at the bath house.

Thee is a dump station that is not the best to access.

Happy Days RV Park, Zephyrhills, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2005 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Park management very rude and unfriendly. We were accosted at the gate and told that our dogs were to big. 20 lb limit. Nothing was mentioned at reservation time. Not adequate space to walk pets. We left after one night after being verbally abused by the manager several times. We camped at Happy Days RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
