While the sites are private and most are shaded, attempting to back into most of them is an adventure. We watched more than our fair share of frustrated drivers trying to navigate the trees, branches, palmetto bushes, etc. We couldn't sit outside at all due to the bugs. But it's July in Florida on the water, it's to be expected. The best part of this campground is the nearby beach and fishing piers, which we took advantage of nearly daily. Be prepared for two toll bridges to get to the campground and at night, have exact change because they don't man the tolls. We'll camp here again but only if we can get a pull through site.

This is our second stay at this park. We were in loop 900 this time and really enjoyed it. It's close to the swimming pool and store. Lots of kids and families staying at the resort due to spring break but it wasn't a problem. The only real issue we had this time was the lack of bus transportation inside the campground. Several times we waited well over 30 minutes for a bus. We highly recommend this campground as a base camp for the Disney Parks, or you could just skip the parks altogether and enjoy the campground.

We absolutely loved this place! While there is not a lot of the "extra" kid type things to do, there is a playground and the kids loved checking out everyone's horses. If you're looking for a place to get out to the middle of nowhere, look at the stars, enjoy the country, and not worry about city life, this is your place. Goethe State Forest is across the street and we enjoyed walking the trails. The onsite store was a big plus and we enjoyed every one of the staff members. The only drawback was the ticks we brought back from the walk in the forest and then followed us home. Just be careful and you get rid of them quick.

The best park we have stayed at! We had a problem with the first site they gave us, 1900 loop. There was a foul smell coming from the standing water in the cypress retaining pond next to our site. We asked to be moved and they did without asking any further questions. The site was large and easy to back into. Some of the sites look like they would be very hard to back into. Our only complaint was the lack of "enforcement" on the quiet hour. Disney Security was visible and patrolling but did little to keep the younger kids from driving the golf carts late at night. They would drive all night long and beep their horns. Then there was the loud parties going on all night. Made for a very restless few nights. If you're looking for nice and convenient to Disney, this is your place!

This is a great overnight stop. We would not stay here any longer. It is 3 miles off the highway by travel but 100' by distance. The staff was nice and friendly. They had a fenced, but small, area for the dogs to run. The kid's stuff is old and needs updating. It worked for a few hours of getting some energy out. Overall, this park needs updating and modernization but is a great stop when you just need to stay somewhere for the night.

This was a stop on the way to Georgia. It was very easy on/off from I-75. I would not stay more than a night at this park however. It is on a dirt road maintained by the county and every time a car drove by, the dust was very thick. Host was very nice and pleasant.

Fantastic park and now one of our favorites! The only drawback was the cold showers in one of the bath houses. We just went to a different bath house. The Wi-Fi is only located at the registration office located about a half mile from the campground. Lots of local stuff to do in addition to the park itself!

We camped here with friends for Spring Break and enjoyed our time there. The biggest bonuses are the pool, bar, and family activities like shuffleboard, mini golf and billiards. The roads are paved and easy to ride your bike or roller blade on. We were disappointed that we couldn't have a fire ring. I called two days before our arrival and was told we could as long as it was above ground but when we arrived suddenly we could cook over a fire but couldn't have one for entertainment. Some of the best camping memories are over an open flame! Sites are mixed in with permanent residents but we got used to feeling like the outsiders after a day.
