White Birches Camping Resort, Shelburne, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

I don't know what the previous review was talking about, we found the staff here very friendly, even got a very nice level pull through for Labor Day Weekend! Lots of trails to hike within the RV Park with our golden retriever. A very quiet campground even on the weekend! Very nice pool and a Jumping room for the kids! We would camp here again. We camped at White Birches Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Fredericksburg, Texas KOA, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We liked this KOA so much that we returned a week later after a rally in Kerrville! The friendly staff got us the same exact site we enjoyed the first 10 days and ended up staying an additional 10 days! Handy for visiting the town, it is a quiet park under the graceful trees! We would return the next time through this area of the Hill Country. We camped at Fredericksburg, Texas KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We came upon this park through RV Park Reviews and loved it. Since we came without reservations, and it was approaching the 4th of July weekend, we could only stay 2 nights. Very envious of those that could stay. Well maintained and wide grassy areas between each site. Big rig friendly and Pull throughs! Friendly staff who tried to find other sites that we could move to due to cancellations and extended our stay! We definitely would come again! We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

RESORT! Hardly! A few cabins and mostly uneven sights some in the tress some in a field. Water was either low pressure or non-existent. Lots of junk laying around. We camped at Tatogga Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Sourdough Campground, Tok, Alaska

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived after Labor Day when leaving Alaska. The cafe was closed and the entertainment was gone. Without these features the price should have been reduced. WIF is only at the office. There are lots of trees for shade and separation from other sites. We camped at Sourdough Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Moab KOA, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older KOA. The internal roads are dirt and gravel. The sites are dirt with gravel pads. The internal roads and site are narrow. The water pressure goes from bad to non-existent. Very few sites for big rigs or long 5th wheels. Some sites are pull through others are backins. This KOA has the most tent sites and KOA cabins I have ever seen. Like all of the campgrounds in Moab it is right on highway 191. The wifi is very weak away from the camp store. Air card and Sat/TV worked fine. We will look for another campground on our next visit to Moab. We camped at Moab KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
