Lakeview RV Park, Bluff City, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Newer campground. We ended up here after a very bad experience at Baileyton RV Park. Not much here yet, but they are working on it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sites are level and the wifi works well. Beautiful setting right next to the Holston River. Convenient to all Tri-city area. Only negative, the hookups are at the back of the sites. We have extended our stay here and will stay here in the future. We camped at Lakeview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good campground. Kind of a hidden gem. Great for overnight or a short extended stay. Hosts were very friendly. Host was in office until 9pm. Lead you to your site and help you get level. Explain where everything is. Very helpful when your tired and would like to get set up quickly. Will stay here again. We camped at Rocky Top Campground in a Motorhome.

Baileyton RV Park, Greeneville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

By-pass this campground. There are plenty of better RV parks within 30 miles. Made reservation months in advance. When we arrived, no reservation. Some how they lost it. Site was not level. Laundry room washers were dirty. Washers and dryers were covered in pet hair. Dog droppings on our site. If you could name something bad, it was here. Had power problems. The wifi was poor, gave up trying after a few hours. Owners and staff were very dismissive and unhelpful. Will NEVER stay here again. We camped at Baileyton RV Park in a Motorhome.

Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2008 - $35.00

Not sure what the other reviewers were looking at. Yes, this CG looks nice on the outside, but don't judge a book by its cover. Bathrooms were dirty. My husband got violently ill at the barn from food poisoning. Could not go outside to enjoy weather as we nearly got run over by the person mowing. Wifi barely worked, we were better off driving 7 miles to the Starbucks to get online. Front office staff was horrible. Better parks in the area where you get more for the money. We will NOT stay here again. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Motorhome.
