Nice state park campground, we thought we would give it a try, we usually stay at St. Joseph Peninsula State Park which is Ocean front and when we got to St Andrews we were a little disappointed to find out that the campground is located on the bay and only has bay front sites. We did however enjoy our stay there.

This new owner that we met has really done a lot to improve this park, he has really turned this park around. If you have a boat and love to bass fish then this is the place you will want to be. It’s perfect for the weekend or by the month, nice large sites even for the largest rigs out there. We used it as a stopover but ended up staying two days. We will be using it again.

Over the past five years we have been dedicated to this campground but unfortunately all good things must come to a end. We usually stay at Tremont Hills twice a year for a total of about 8-10 days. I have sent them business recommending them over and over but I can’t and won't do that now. The campground has new owners and they are not very people friendly. This past time we were there I felt like the management treated me like a kid. They wouldn’t let me complete my question before interrupting and saying”NO!” It was very rude and uncalled for. Originally I asked for a riverfront site and was told over the phone that they didn’t have any available. I sounded so disappointed that they stated that well maybe something will work out for us before we got there. But after they got us there they didn’t want to hear a word about moving over to a river front site. After the first night there we saw several riverfront sites open so I walked up to the office and I was going to ask if there were any riverfront cancellations that we would like to move over there and before I could finish my sentence I was rudely interrupted and told NO! There isn’t any. I took a step back and then was going to tell them that I was willing to move around a couple nights just to have one and again I was cut off and treated like a child. I must say that I have never been treated like that at any establishment much less a campground. We are now in the process of my finding another home campground for the Smoky’s.

We really enjoyed this campground so much that we are planning a trip back for the summer of 2006. We have been to several campgrounds in North West Florida that has had access to the beach, but none of them were this close. The bugs were bad in the evening time but other than that it was ok during the day. Great Place with the most beautiful beach I've seen in Florida. I?m going to give it a 10 even with the bugs because of the beautiful beach and the proximity of the beach to the campground. We stayed in the Gulf Breeze section.

We usually stay at this campground at least once a year and have been for years but this last time the owners/office people was really rude. There was one lady that was really nice but I think she was a work camper the other lady was really hateful when I asked about staying an extra night. She was completely rude and didn?t even let me finish getting my sentence out when she snapped at me ?we don?t have any". I?m not even sure she knew what I was asking about. We left and went next door to the Little River Campground. We had a wonderful time over there. I don?t know if we will go back to Tremont Hills anymore. Nice campground but the staff needs to be more helpful and understanding. The people in the office/store act like you are bugging them when you go up to the office for anything.
