Tyler State Park, Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice state park. As mentioned before, the pull throughs are small semi circles and can be quite tight. Our first attempt at a space was not successful due to it being very un-level. The second space tried was much better but had to watch for the boulders. Had some confusion on the pricing. The fee for the campsite listed does not include the admission fee for each person. As a result it cost us 34 a night. We camped at Tyler State Park in a Motorhome.

Hickory Creek COE, Lewisville, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $28.00

This is a very nice Corps of Engineers park. We reserved a pull through, space 26, and were right on the lake. We were on the opposite side of the campground from the freeway and did not notice any traffic noise. We rode our bikes over to the east side of the park and noticed that you could hear the freeway noise. We camped at Hickory Creek COE in a Motorhome.

Canton I-20 RV Park, Wills Point, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We were running late and the roads were getting icy so we needed a place to stop. Called the number and the owner picked up even though it was way after hours. She said take any spot available and we would settle up in the morning. We pulled out early the next morning so I can't give a full assessment but what we saw looked nice. It is close to the freeway but the noise didn't bother us. We camped at Canton I-20 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Council Road RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

As mentioned in previous reviews, this is an older park with many long term people. We were led to a nice pull through spot. WiFi worked well, the cable TV was a bit snowy. Park was clean and quite. We planned on staying 4 days but the weather was going to turn bad so we left a day early. Unfortunately, their policy is no refunds so keep that in mind. We camped at Council Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were passing through and spent the night here. As mentioned, the lady lead us to a nice big pull through site with all we needed. The internet and cable TV worked well. We camped at Cactus RV Park in a Motorhome.
