Treetops RV Resort, Arlington, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Great park in DFW area. We have stayed here multiple times and it is always a solid place to stay with easy access to I-20. Just about every thinkable amenity is very close, including the ballpark where the Rangers play and Cowboys stadium. After viewing other parks in the DFW area I'm upgrading my rating to a 9. We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Outstanding RV park. One of the best anywhere, easy in and easy out. Great for overnight off I-20, or good for a Canton tradesday stay. Has nice swimming pools, and a good layout. We camped at Mill Creek Ranch RV & Cottage Resort in a Motorhome.

Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

I don't understand the negative reviews. I enjoyed this campground. From site 29 there is a very nice view. It is right off the interstate so there is some road noise, but not enough to deter a future stay. I also found the attendants at the park to be very nice and helpful. We camped at Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Slightly above average park. I was not that impressed, however the park is very clean and the staff is extremely helpful. Located 4 miles from Dollywood. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Destin RV Beach Resort, Miramar Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with great landscaping, however if you are coming for the beach you need to understand the distance to the beach. It is 2-3 blocks. It's a small, intimate park. Another nice option in Destin, adds to the many different kinds of above average parks in the area. We camped at Destin RV Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Outdoor Resorts Virginia Beach, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Hard park to rate. It seemed 75% of the sites were park model Fleetwood trailers or travel trailers with skirting giving it a very trailer park like feel. There are beautiful views of the bay and the park is clean, but it is not up to the level of other Outdoor Resort parks we have visited in Hilton Head and Vegas. The park is also a long drive to VA Beach but just down and across the street from a very nice beach park. We camped at Outdoor Resorts Virginia Beach in a Motorhome.

Holiday Trav-L-Park, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Had a grass pad, but level. Huge campground with lots of activities. It's 2 miles to the VA Beach boardwalk. Planes are loud, but I'm not complaining. KOA is right down the street, but I chose this park after leaving the Outdoor Resorts in VA Beach. We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park in a Motorhome.

Ok for an overnight stay. Reviews are accurate, however, my site did not have any gravel, only grass. Located 3 miles off the interstate, behind a flea market. We camped at The Barnyard RV Park in a Motorhome.

Geronimo RV Resort, Destin, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Lowest priced RV park in the Destin area if you can't get into the State Parks. It's very, very clean and crisp with concrete pads. Has a small loop with all back in sites. Also has a very nice manager. You are a little out of walking distance to the beach, but it is very close. If you want to stay on the beach, stay at Camping on the Gulf. If you want more amenities and a nicer place, stay at the Destin Luxury RV Park which is a stone throws away. But for the city of Destin, this is good value and puts you in the middle of everything. We camped at Geronimo RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Robert, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Tough to rate. The park definitely needs work. Not big rig friendly, limited 50 amp slots, but great for the kids. Lot of golf carts. 3 miles off I-12. Good pizza place up the road. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Other reviews are accurate. This park is clean and well maintained with nice facilities, but the location in the back of a neighborhood, and small sites get an 8. We camped at Rayford Crossing RV Resort in a Motorhome.
