Pelican Nest RV Resort and Campground, Dauphin Island, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

The owners and other campers were friendly and helpful. The sites are tight and some were not level. Enjoyed the beach located across the street. I would camp here again. We camped at Pelican Nest RV Resort and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Poche Plantation, Convent, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Level concrete pads. Wi-Fi, cable and full hookups. Camped in one of the pull-throughs in the back of the resort. Plantation tours were fantastic. Including the Poche plantation. Lunch at the Houmas house was phenomenal. Swamp tour was nice as well. I would definitely recommend this RV resort. We camped at Poche Plantation in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed in site 89 four days. Very quiet. Great location to the canyon and waterfalls. No WiFi at the sites. I would highly recommend this campground during high waterfall times. We camped at DeSoto Resort State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $99.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are close together. many sites close to street. Very expensive. Standard size donut will not fit in the septic connection. Most people had a brick or sack of sand to hold the red elbow tube to the sewer. Campground store had very little supplies, so come equipped with everything. Now the good. Sites are very clean. Early entry to the parks. Bathroom and laundry also clean. I will never camp here ever again. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

A & M Perdido Resort LLC (formerly Perdido Cove RV Resort & Marina), Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground. Our site was on the intercoastal waterway side. Beaches are very close. Sunset grille is a great place to dine and watch the sunset. My only gripe would be the high price. We camped at A & M Perdido Resort LLC (formerly Perdido Cove RV Resort & Marina) in a Fifth Wheel.

Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Nice gravel sites in the shade. Good view of the lake and Stone Mountain. Friendly staff. Bath houses were not clean! If this was a campground without the theme park, I would rate it lower. We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort, Panama City Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $40.00

Small but very well landscaped campground. Friendly staff. Close to the beach. An annoying Wi Fi charge of $4.00 a night I decided to decline. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
