Whispering Oaks Campground, Manchester, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is not a luxury resort. This is a lovely spot in the woods away from the interstate. Sites are spacious and flat. Utilities are basic. WiFi is OK. Peace and quiet is the main attraction. Wanted to stay a few days but we were on a tight schedule. We camped at Whispering Oaks Campground in a Motorhome.

E-Z Stop RV Park, Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

As previously reviewed, this is a bare basics, overnite stop. Easy access from I-75. Currently about 1/3 full with permanent residents. Very nice owners. Don't know if they have restrooms or laundry. Decent utilities. Close to the highway but noise was not a problem. We would stop here again. Our pull thru was grass but there are a few concrete pull thrus and backins. We camped at E-Z Stop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Padre Palms RV Park, Corpus Christi, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice people in the office. Good utilities and level, concrete parking. Nice salty breeze from the nearby Laguna Madre. WiFi is unsecured and was not very good in our site (away from the office). Yes the neighbor hood is not pretty but it is safe and populated by good people living on small budgets. Only minutes from downtown, the Bayfront and the causeway to Padre Island. Just a mile from Naval Air Station CC; the sound of freedom can be heard overhead most of the day. We usually have stayed at Colonia del Rey or aboard NAS but will come back here from now on. We camped at Padre Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

Princess Wenona RV Oasis, Wenona, Illinois

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

True, the pad and utilities are OK. There was no Wi-Fi. We did not come to camp...we came to sleep. At 11PM a person who works in the Burger King decided to circle our rig a few times to show us how great his motorcycle sounds with no muffler. He came back again for an encore at 0100 hrs. After the motorcycle hit the road, "Barney Fife" set up shop on the nearby overpass and spent the rest of the night exercising the lights and siren. We camped at Princess Wenona RV Oasis in a Motorhome.
