Ole Towne Cotton Gin RV Park, Quanah, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived on a Sunday, the office and Cotton Gin were closed. Cash or check only when office is closed, unless you paid by phone. The sites are dirt sites, near the road. Cable didn't work, but it wasn't guaranteed either. It is a good overnight stop. I did walk around the grounds. The pool was dirty and not usable. The sites were neat and clean. Signs were a little confusing, but doable. Didn't try the internet. Kind of pricey for what you get. We camped at Ole Towne Cotton Gin RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mill Creek Ranch RV & Cottage Resort, Canton, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This resort is old. The entrance is almost hidden. The interior road is rough. The "grass" is almost not existant. The staff is nice. It is a large family oriented resort. I will not rate any of that since we did not use any of the amenities. The sites are rough and not very level, we had trees on our site that needed trimming. The site hadnt't been "policed" very well. I lot of trash laying around. There was a lot of ants at all the sites. The Taco Shack near the entrance had very good food. We camped at Mill Creek Ranch RV & Cottage Resort in a Motorhome.

Cajun Palms RV Resort, Henderson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This is a summertime family oriented RV resort. The Resort was almost empty since it was "off season". The sites are very large with long, wide concrete pads and large grassy areas between sites. There are a lot of ducks, so there are a lot of duck droppings. There were restaurants near by, but not in walking distance; some deliver to your site. The resort is very nice. There is a huge children's pool area, an adult pool, volley ball courts, playgrounds, etc. We camped at Cajun Palms RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Eagles Landing RV Park, Holt, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice, no frills, park. The sites are wide and long. All sites are pull-thrus 30/50 amp. There is a wide grassy area between the sites. There is a $1.00 per device per day fee for Wi-Fi. We didn't use it. It is a great overnight stay. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Decatur / Wheeler Lake KOA, Hillsboro, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Roads are very narrow. Gate entering the campground area itself is very narrow. (A lot of paint scrapings on the gate posts). First site we were in was very unlevel (site P49). Also, we couldn't open our bedroom slide due to the power meter being so high. There was a dog chained up outside all day and night that barked all the time. Roads and sites are not big rig friendly. There was an additional $5.00 per night fee for "park amenities", which I assume was for the boat ramp, which we didn't use. Didn't see any other "park amenities", that aren't in other campgrounds. We camped at Decatur / Wheeler Lake KOA in a Truck Camper.

Triple C’s Campground & RV Park (Formerly Chattahoochee/Tallahassee We, Chattahoochee, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived at the campground around 1:00pm. Office was closed until 3:00 so we self registered. The roads in the campground were rough, a lot of wash-outs, and pot holes. There is no cable, the over the air TV is iffy, and there are too many trees for satellite. Overall the campground is okay for an overnighter. We never personally saw any of the campground employees, so I only gave service a satisfactory rating. We would stay again, as it is convenient for us. We camped at Triple C’s Campground & RV Park (Formerly Chattahoochee/Tallahassee We in a Motorhome.

A & M Perdido Resort LLC (formerly Perdido Cove RV Resort & Marina), Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $88.00
Overall Rating:

Campground very nice. Nice wide sites, with grassy areas in between. Nearby Bridge noise is not a problem (less noise than being near an interstate or major road). Close to numerous activities. Pads a little tight due to curbing, but no big deal. View is great. We came here for one week and extended our stay for a second week. Two Restaurants within walking distance. Wifi excellent. Staff very friendly. Rate is weekly, deluxe water front. We will definitely be back. We camped at A & M Perdido Resort LLC (formerly Perdido Cove RV Resort & Marina) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Naval Air Museum a must to see, expect two days to see it all. If you are there during Blue Angels Practice, great show. Of the two restaurants within walking distance Sunset Grill was our favorite. Oyster Bar had very bad service. Joe Patti's Seafood store (about 19 minutes away) in Pensacola is a must if you like seafood. The store is huge and has a great selection at reasonable prices. Watching all the boats and barges on the Intercoastal Waterway is the best.

Grassy Key RV Park & Resort, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean and well kept campground. The sites are very spacious and there is plenty of room for slides. The hosts are very accommodating. We are looking forward to coming back in December. The view is beautiful. We were in a different campground at milepost 70 and did not like it so we moved here. We would have given it a ten if there were baths, showers, and a place to walk the dogs. But we will return. Very convenient area to see the Keys. We camped at Grassy Key RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.
