Kountry Air RV Park, Prattville, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful, clean and friendly owners. Appealing landscaping, many trees and flowers. Most sites are quite large and park is quiet. Units here are above average, no junk sitting around. Bath house and other buildings are older but appear to be well maintained. Only drawback I could see is that some sites are small (suitable for smaller campers) and you would need leveling. You go up a hill to get to many sites, road is not paved. Did see larger fifth wheels and motorhomes and some sites are pull throughs. Owner ran outside to tell us antenna was still up, she escorted is to our site last nite. We did not call ahead make a reservation and we got here about 6:30pm. We camped at Kountry Air RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whispering Woods RV Park, Wyandotte, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Very picturesque campground, when trees mature it will be even better. Many amenities for such a low rate. Washer and dryer available, no charge. Pay for your site at hotel. Casino is small but has everything you need. We had one of the better campsites that was in a corner; those have some grass. The sites down the middle would be tight if you have slides. They are marked off sites that reminded us of a rest area, but can accommodate longer rigs. Each site has electric, water, and trash can. Pavilion with tables across from the shower house has a stone fireplace with free wood for campers. Dump station is back in but large enough for our 38' R V. We camped at Whispering Woods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Binder Park, Jefferson City, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful little park. Had no problems getting our 38' RV into a site. We did unhook our towed Jeep when we got into the park. Even with our 3 slides our site was large enough. We do always check a site to make sure there is enough room and no branches are in the way. Our site 6 was level. The water hookup was further away and we had to use a 25' hose. Very tidy park, clean, bath house was heated, abd there is a laundry and washers are $1.00, dryers 50 cents. This place is nicer than many at twice the price. Quiet, peaceful, trees, and great to have full hookups. We camped at Binder Park in a Motorhome.

Historic Route 66 RV Park (formerly Kiva RV Park), Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly and helpful staff, especially the security guard. He guided us to our site and helped us any way he could. This park is in the process of being improved but there is still a lot of work to be done. In the summer months it would be prettier, as we noticed many plantings rose bushes ornamental etched. Several permanent mobile homes with junky yards detract from the RV sites which are level and clean. Great fire pit area for gathering and a small gazebo for enjoying warm weather; lots of neat touches like bird baths and feeders park benches. Too bad that some of the permanents don't take care of their lots; this place could be so much better. Owners take note this is a jewel in the rough and has potential to be a destination park. Enforce some rules, tell mobile home owners to clear out the junk, make sure dogs are kept on leashes and we will be back. Very quiet place, handy to everything, and we would have given you a 10 if not for some very fixable problems. You are working hard and it's obvious that you care; your tenants obviously don't. We camped at Historic Route 66 RV Park (formerly Kiva RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Coachlight Inn & RV Park, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

So so campground behind a motel. Good utilities, fairly level, great Wi-Fi and good location for exploring the area. Big rig friendly and allows pets. Park run down looking, very dusty with dirt roads and sites that could use more gravel. Landscaping needs work, so does the rest of park, okay for a night or two. We camped at Coachlight Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.
