USI RV Park

Wichita, Kansas

Date of Stay:

Nice north-central location right of Hwy 96 and Hillside. Compact rock but didn't seem to be a problem in leveling. Staff very friendly. I would have gave it a 10 but no concrete sites and they charged me for my two kids (+$4.00 each / day). But they were upfront about it: not hidden fees. I would stay again next time I am in Wichita.

Date of Stay:

The nightly rate is a package. $79 for 2 nights and the train ride up to the Canyon - check their web site for more information. Park is new (2006 I think) and wide open. Sites are clean. You have access to the pool at the hotel about a block away. Downtown Williams & Route 66 is easy walking distance from the campsites. Be sure to bring your jack pads; they are required.

Nice park outside of Galveston. Beach access across a (busy) road, about a block away. Nice folks and facilities. If it was right on the beach: Excellent! I will stay there again.

I would have rated this a '10' but they charged for my 2 kids @ $3.50 each per day. Nice campground and facilities. Lots of shade, and when you pull in, watch out for branches!

Staff was very friendly. Campground was clean, but the sites are rock, so my rig and toad got covered with a white rock dust. They also charge for additional (children) people @ $3.00 each. I recommend this KOA.

This was an okay park. It seems most campers were there long term which is fine. The pull through sites were easy to access, and the park is just off the highway. My kids checked out the restrooms and showers and said they were just okay. We were visiting family in Houston so we didn't need a lot of 'features'; and stayed only a couple of nights.
