South Forty Campground, Petersburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This place is excellent. We went there two times (May 2006& August 2006). It is right up the street from where i live. We come here when other campgrounds we want to go to are full on holiday weekends. Its a nice little place just south of Petersburg,VA in Prince George,VA. It is just minutes off of I-95 and very easy to find. They have a really nice pool and a lake for fishing. there is alot of peace and serenity but unlike other places that offer this, this place is actually fun!. There are so many attractions in the area and you are just minutes from major cities(Colonial Heights,Petersburg,Hopewell,Richmond). Overall this place is great and i recommend it to everyone that comes in the area. We camped at South Forty Campground in a Motorhome.

Shenandoah Crossing Resort, Gordonsville, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Me and my family love this place. we have came here almost every year for a period of five years. this place has everything, including a pool(which can be crowed at times) and a hot tub. Also there is horseback riding and even a remote control car race track! They even have a mini golf course.I would reccomend this place to anyone, and it's really easy to get to off of I-64 and U.S Route 33.The cost is cheaper for us only because we are members of Coast to Coast. We camped at Shenandoah Crossing Resort in a Motorhome.
