Full timers since May 2009. We live in our 40' 2007 Tiffin Allegro Bus. We have stayed in a lot of military campgrounds and a good number of commercial ones. Our budget calls for $25 / night and we have averaged $21.63.

I liked this old motel/RV park. It seems to have a lot of history. The staff was friendly and gave us a good site. Our Internet and satellite TV worked fine. We only stayed one night on our way to California but it was a good choice and we would not hesitate to stay there again. We had been to the Grand Canyon the previous year and this year were just stopping on our way through to California. We would stay here in our 40-footer again.

Very nice and large campground. Facilities were in great shape - new and well maintained. Loved the large pull-through and level sites. Full hookups and nearby shopping at the pecan / orange grove outlet store one street over. It was a great place to stay. We would camp here again in our 40' RV.

Really liked this campground. It is convenient and not far off I-10. We stayed 4 days and it was great. Our campsite was level and we had no issues with our Internet (Verizon Jetpack) and DirecTV. It was a nice, quiet, well maintained campground with full hookups and 50 amp service. A little pricey but a nice stop in the middle of the summer. We will return in our 40' RV.

We like this place. It's very convenient for us and we return year after year. We stay in the 'newer' area with the large sites. Typical for many bases it seems, more and more people are homesteading and turning the campground into an extension of base housing. Nevertheless, the sites are unusually long and wide and very nice. Full hookups are available and we were able to wash our RV. The staff is good. One camp host was exceptional. I left over $10 in quarters in the laundry room. I reported the loss. She called me a week later and went out of her way when the Tupperware jar of quarters was returned. She called me and found a way to get the money back to me. Never heard of the 'way and above' service! Kudos to her for sure! We will be returning to the FamCamp on our next visit to Albuquerque. Our RV is 40' long.

We liked this campground and would stay again. It's in a convenient location and is well maintained. We stayed in the older section but it was recently updated. The sites are adequate with concrete pads and grass. The staff was very congenial and friendly which we always appreciate. It was a good overnight stop and we would consider staying there again. Our rig is 40' long.

This is a self service park in downtown Red Bay. It was fine and our first time there. The $20 is the going rate for everything around there. Some sites (#4) have access to satellite TV was good. Sites are level on what look like the concrete floor of old buildings that were scraped. Very convenient to downtown area, the Tiffin Plant, and the shops in Red Bay. We would stay there again.

Loved this campground. Might have been able to get satellite TV access if we had stayed on the river side of the campground and settled for 30 amp. Beautiful views, level sites, nice gravel/patio area, grass all around and freshly mowed. It was very nice and well maintained. The discount with the American the Beautiful Pass was a real bonus. Helpful staff and friendly. We liked it a lot.

Road is rough getting over to the campground but once we were there, we were impressed. Can not beat the view of the Mississippi River! If you want open area access for the satellite TV, you might want to park in the 5th wheel section. Staff was helpful and allowed us to move over there from the tree lined motor home sites. Level, concrete with pad and table. Free laundry! New washers and dryers and it was a pleasant surprise. We loved the place and would come back again. We camped in a motor home.

Loved this park and location. Not on the water but very close. Great location to visit the area and take day trips. Full hookups and well laid out campground. Long bike path that connects to the park was very nice and went around Lake Worth. Loved this place and would be glad to come back for another visit.

Very impressed with this county campground. Even though there was a little dust along the road in front of our campsite, it was not a problem. We backed up to a canal and had full hookups and a campfire ring. The layout was fine and we got good signal coverage for our DirecTV. We used the laundry facilities that were adequate. Nothing fancy but did fine. We loved the location and went for a couple of day trips up and down the coast. We would not hesitate to return.

One of the very best in the military. Million dollar view, great staff. Well run park. Internet works fantastic. We love this place. Free laundry with new washers and dryers. Too bad other military bases can't take a lesson from these folks. They definitely do it right. We will return.

Nice campground out in the middle of nowhere. Some sites have no trees so we were able to get satellite TV after we moved. First Office staffer not helpful, the second one helped us move. Campground is pretty, has lots of kids on the weekends and not far from the dam with fishing. Showers and laundry were good. Verizon phones barely worked. Internet worked a couple days then did not over the weekend. Don't personally like to be so isolated. Probably would not camp here again.

Not that impressed with the office help or the prices here. Made reservations in person for the next week only to find out they had no record of it and was told our MH would not fit in that site anyway. Never mind the office personnel specifically put us there after checking it out. Wanted to be near friends. Got another site which worked out fine. It was grassy but level and our satellite worked so we were happy. If it weren't for our friends spending the winter there not sure if we'd stay there again. Too many other choices.

Great place to stay. Nice facilities and great options for beach, gym, golf and other on base activities. We stayed one night in overflow, dry camping and then got right into a regular site. Upgrades on many of the 30 amp sites are underway. We'd stay there again in our 40' motorhome.

Park is older but completely adequate. We scored a site in the back that had plenty of room and even a little privacy. Neighbors were snowbirds and very friendly. Older motorhomes parked throughout. Not the most fancy place we've stayed but the price was right and we liked it.
