Nightly rate reflects monthly charge. This is one of the best parks we have stayed in. Were here for the better part of the winter and we believe we have found our winter home. Site are quite spacious and the park is very quiet. Off the beaten path but easily accessible from I-4 - no interstate noise. Staff is young and customer oriented. They readily addressed any concern/problem we had. Park has every amenity one may need and is close to churches, shopping and multiple restaurants. Sulphur smell occasionally from spring but nothing that should drive anyone out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our stay next season.

We found the staff to be friendly although we did not come into contact with them after check-in. The sites were adequate enough and the campground was very quiet. The WiFi did not work in that we were too far away from the office. The other disturbing thing was the logging operations that were going on across the creek: noisy all day long. Although they did not honor any discounts, if we were to return to Maggie Valley, we would consider this campground again.

Date of Stay:

While we understand that off-season is the time to do maintenance/new construction, the need to have heavy machinery outside our window at 8AM is unnecessary for two days in a row. This KOA is an excellent overnight stop as it is only 100 yds or so from I-95; it is very noisy. If we did not have family in the immediate area, we would not stay here for an extended period of time.

Date of Stay:

Good interior paved roads although tight w/40"trailer, but we made it. Site #80 had low voltage on 30 amp power. Receptacle looked charred and needs to be replaced. Other than that, our stay here was a pleasant one. We were here only overnight; felt rate was a little high and that was with our KOA discount. We would stay here again.

We spent the better part of two and a half months at this park and have been very happy with our stay here. We plan to return next spring for another extended stay.

Our site was out in the middle of the park with no shade. Sites were crush rock and ours was not too level from side to side. We only stayed for two nights to take a break from driving. Would stay again for an overnight.

Overall, the facilities were excellent. Our only complaint (and it is minor) is the noise generated by the tubers who congregate near the entrance which is where we were parked. Staff is very friendly; we were notified by phone when a certified letter arrived. We would not hesitate to return for another visit.

Nice campground. Nice level sites, easy in and out. Wi-Fi was very good as was cable TV, and 50 amp power connection.

Date of Stay:

The pull through site was easy to get into and had plenty of room. The 50 amp power was weak and fluctuated to <105 vac on occasion. Quiet time was not enforced!

Date of Stay:

Sites were adequate but a little cramped. The traffic noise from I-80 was distracting in the evening.
