This is one of the state parks that has gone thru a remodel. For once the state got it right on this one. Pads are wide and level. 50amp power. But the things I didn't like were folks riding around on golf carts, a van with its generator running and dogs not on a leash. I saw a park ranger ride thru several times but she didn't address any of these issues. The campground host wasn't helpful either. Also there are full timers in this park.

I like the "A" section of this park. In a motorhome it is the only section we could get into. This park is close to Chattanooga for shopping or sight seeing. It is a clean, quiet park. I would go back.

We have stayed here many times since 2006. It is a halfway stop when traveling home from Disney. There is a little noise from I-75 but after a long day of driving it didn't bother me.

I guess the only reason you would stay here is if you were going to one of the Disney parks. Our spot was hard to get into to start with. You receive a lot of cable channels but most are scrambled for some reason. The park is very noisy. The sites were close together in the loop I was in. Oh and the price.

This park claims to have pull-thrus. I reserved a 50amp full hook up. When I arrived I had to take a 30amp. The way they park you if you don't get there early you won't get your 50amp spot. After you pull in there isn't room for anyone to get by with tow vehicle. I won't stay here again.

The only reason I'm not giving this place a 10 is the lack of 50amp power. The sites are level and wide. You have a choice of two campgrounds. One is open and the other is more back in the woods. Both are easy to get around in. Lots of things to see and do. There is a nice restaurant down the road from the park called The Canyon Grill. This place is very expensive. Our internet, phones and satellite worked great here.

We arrived after hours on Thanksgiving night. Instructions were waiting for us in the late arrival box. We had a map inside a envelope with a picture of a hand drawn turkey on the outside. The next day we met the staff. They were very friendly. We will be back.

This is a very nice little park. We stayed here over the fourth of July and loved it.

We really enjoyed our trip. This was a monthly club trip. The place was clean and neat and easy to get around in. Large fire pit for the club to use and nice clubhouse. The host were the best. They made cupcakes and cookies for our club.

This is a big park that has a river down one side of it. The people there are very friendly. We had a back-in, full hook site. The site was gravel with a concrete patio. Our site wasn't very level. We had to place pads under the back wheels on the coach to keep the wheels from being off the ground. The sewer hook ups stick up 8" or more making it hard to get your line to drain. There was some heavy equipment noise behind the campground but other wise very quiet.

This campground is easy to get to from I-40. It had some nice back in sites along the river in the new part. Service was good and we enjoyed our stay.

We stopped in here on our way home. The services was great, location was good. We had a nice shaded spot.

This campground is close to Charleston. It has lots of different types of sites to choose from. We had a pull thru site with shade. Our RV was on a concrete pad.

We were met by very friendly people. The lady at the check in and the lady that took us to our site. Wonderful people. Our site was a long pull thru with shade. Easy in and out.

I am going to try and rate this campground fairly. Getting there is a little challenging. First you have a really steep hill to pull after you turn in off hwy 30. After that the road is very narrow but as long as you drive slow you can make it. This campground has good cable and wi-fi. The concrete pads are level and wide. We had no trouble with four slides and awning. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked. I think most people come to this place to fish. I know while we were there I caught a nice mess of crappie for dinner one night. We will go back.
