We used this campground as 'base camp' for our holiday weekend trip to Hershey, PA. We had low expectations going in given the previous reviews... the park met our expectations. Our site was difficult to back in to given the steep slope I had to overcome while backing up. The location of the dumpsters on the opposite side of the narrow road compounded the issue. Luckily for me our neighbor offered to move his truck which allowed me to take a sharp angle. He was nice enough to guide me in. Our site was fairly large. The location of the utilities was a bit odd. They were directly behind us and were shared with 3 other sites. I noticed that one camper had to use a long extension cord to get power to his rig (not to mention very long sewer and water hoses). The restrooms were beyond filthy. The pool looked decrepit and in disrepair. The staff was friendly.

Great place if you don't mine listening to your neighbor’s radio (inside your RV) from 7 am to well after midnight. Along with constant VERY loud chatter and every other word being the "f word". Don't expect any resolution from the owner either. His response was "It's a holiday weekend" while shrugging his shoulders. Also, the campground is littered with broken down vehicles, old amusement park rides, electrical conduit/wires, black plastic tubing, old RV frames, etc. There are also massive piles of gravel scattered on the grounds. The bathrooms were filthy and contained no toilet paper or soap! Stay away!!

Being a KOA, you know exactly what you are getting. The restrooms and showers were clean and well stocked. T the staff was VERY friendly, and my daughter loved the playground. The sites are on the small side (width wise) and you are rather close to your neighbor. There were no noise issues though. Everyone was very courteous, friendly, and helpful! The ride on the fire truck looked like fun (daughter was napping at the time). I cannot comment on the pool as it was not yet open. This KOA seems geared more towards those looking to get a way for a couple of days or those simply passing through. I would not book more and a weekend at this facility.

The Mystic KOA is your standard run-of-the-mill KOA. The sites are pretty close together, and the grounds were pretty wide open (no trees). The facilities were clean and functional. The store was lightly stocked (still the slow season). Our site was no where near level and rather muddy.
