Date of Stay:

Had a wonderful weekend at Dosewalips SP and hiked in the Olympic National Forest. Campground was well spaced out (wagon wheel parking makes it feel more open), plus there was a large open space between the wheels where kids could play. Lots of children and pets, but not overly noisy. A bit of road noise from Hwy 101, but not too bothersome. Well patroled by State Park employees and they keep the park clean. Would definitely stay again.

Date of Stay:

Very nicely maintained park with wonderful hosts. Amenities mostly for campers without children. There is a city playground (with dog run) less than a 1/2 mile away. Plenty to see and do in the Sequim area. We visited the Olympic National park and rode our bikes on the mostly paved Olympic Discovery Trail. Also nearby is the Dungeness Recreation area bordering the Strait of Juan De Fuca. Camp hosted a bon fire and there are other activities. Would definitely stay again.

Date of Stay:

Excellent location to view Redwoods, but mediocre park. Hosts were friendly, but owner decided to drive ATV through park repeatedly at 3am. Hosts did apologize for his behavior the next day. Pool was just opened but not yet heated. Game/exercise room still under construction. Spots were fairly close together and only a very few have pads to pull up on. Would probably get messy with any measurable rain.

Date of Stay:

Park was nearly empty except for some full timers who, unfortunately, let their dog bark outside at all hours. Management was aware of the issue but took no action. Ended up leaving a day early. Website also fails to mention location of maximum security state prison (less than a mile away). Spots were gravel but it appeared that drainage would be a problem. Campground is also too distant from Crescent City (which isn't much either). Better off staying in one of the state campgrounds. One positive, the bathrooms were very clean.
