Adirondack Gateway RV Resort, Gansevoort, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $105.00
Overall Rating:

A little disappointed that the Race day events were nothing more than showing the race on a big screen that you could barely see. We are Nascar fans and were all excited for our trip. Ended up just watching the race inside our cabin. We camped at Adirondack Gateway RV Resort in a Campground Cabin.

Adventure Bound Camping Resort at Deer Run, Schaghticoke, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here a couple weekends this season. The only thing that was disappointing is that the water slide broke last year and we heard that parts were on order...then this year the story was that a new water slide was coming. One of the pools had no water in it and as of June and still no water slide. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort at Deer Run in a Travel Trailer.

Adirondack Camping Village, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice family operated wooded campground with a mix of RVers and tents. Really nice pools. There are a lot of hills but that is to be expected since it is in the Adirondacks. There is a hayride and a nightly movie but a few more activities like Bingo would have made it a 10. We camped at Adirondack Camping Village in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Paradise Pines Camping Resort, North Hudson, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great place, friendly and helpful staff. They backed us in and helped me out when I got locked out of my trailer. Hardly saw my kids they were always playing. Brand new pool, spa was very relaxing. Cable doesn't get many channels and only get cell sevice with At&T but wi-fi is good. We will come back. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Paradise Pines Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River, Gardiner, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We have been camping here for years. Every time my son gets stung by a bee, this time he was stung twice. The pools are nice. We love the Tiki Bar and Candy Bar Bingo. One guy not sure if he is an owner or just a security guy make a rude comment that "parents should be given test just as drivers". I'd like to see him handle an Autistic child that gets stung by a bee. I was offended by that comment. If this park wasn't so nice I probably wouldn't go back. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Travel Trailer.

Adventure Bound Camping Resort at Deer Run, Schaghticoke, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

If you are looking for the best campground in the capital district this is the place. My kids loved the small water slide in the main pool. The kiddie pool has a water fountain plus there is an adult only pool. There are plenty of activities. There suppers are $5 and worth it. They have 4 person petal carts so the whole family can go for a bike ride together. The rec room is very nice and the snack bar is reasonable. On the hay ride you can see the entire valley (great view). Ther are lots of seasonals but most are friendly, just make sure your kids stay off their roped off area. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort at Deer Run in a Travel Trailer.

Adirondack Gateway RV Resort, Gansevoort, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, but it seems that the seasonals get every good site. There are plenty of water and electric sites, but the full hook-up sites are small and right on top of each other. The pool was nice but chilly. The bathrooms were the best I have ever seen at a campground. The staff was friendly. We camped at Adirondack Gateway RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Lake George RV Park, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A really nice RV park. We went off-season because during peak times this park gets expensive. The indoor pool was a little chilly but the kids still enjoyed it. The game room was nice. Everything was well kept. Even though there are no planned activities there is still plenty to do. The only issue that we had was that our site was very rocky and my husband was playing ball and tripped on a rock and landed on the paved road. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Tent Trailer.

Tip Tam Camping Resort, Jackson, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We camped Memorial Day Weekend. It was a last minute change of plans since gas is $4/gallon and we couldn't afford to go to VA Beach. We were pleasantly surprised. Our family loved this campground and we are going back in August. Although the sites are right on top of each other, everyone was friendly. Make sure you have an extension cord and a long hose because the hook-ups are far. Bring quarters for the showers. Even though there was only 1 bathroom they were clean and not crowded since most people have trailers. The DJ was great and the location was convenient to six flags and the beaches. The mini-golf was only $1. The staff was always accommodating. We camped at Tip Tam Camping Resort in a Tent Trailer.
