This is a real secret in Great Bend. The few campgrounds in Great Bend aren't very appealing, but even though this facility is Mobile Home/RV it is very well run. The manager Joyce and her husband go well beyond the call of duty to accommodate their guests. It is a very clean and well kept park. It is also very quiet in the park. This will always be our place to go while in Great Bend.

As Fulltimers, this is one of the nicest parks we stay at during the year. Not sure why the negative reviews. We have found the park to be wonderful each time we have come. Sites are shaded and yes, the owners do water their grass and it shows, it's nice and green. The other parks in town are all gravel. The restrooms are spotless and the week that we were here there was never a problem getting in the restrooms. There's nice clubhouse with a large covered porch with tables and chairs. The owners are just wonderful people and will do anything to make your stay a great one. Sites are large with nice concrete patios and nice table. I do not feel it's a bad part of town. We never felt that it wasn't safe at all. We plan on coming back here year after year.

We're fulltimers going on 2 years now and I've got to say this is the worse RV park we have stayed at. We work on the road so we don't have a lot of expectations and just need a utilitarian site. This RV park couldn't even supply that. There is a stockyard in the back and we had to listen to cows mooing for 3 days, 24 hrs a day until sale day. We were told that they had 50 amp but none available. It was quite hot, we really needed to be able to use our AC. With 30 amp we can only use one, but can always use the dryer or oven at the same time. Not here, if we tried to turn on the oven, we would blow the circuits so we couldn't cook. They advertise a pool, but they have filled it in. Upon checkin we were told at least 3 times that checkout was at 11:00 am and if we were late that we would be charged. If we were not here on business we would not have stayed and will definitely stay somewhere else next time, even if we have to travel further to get to town.

This is a wonderful park that sits about 6 miles south of Giddings. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The sites and shaded and in Texas in the summer, that's a real plus for us. The sites are huge, reminding us of some state parks. Each site is pull through with a barbeque and a picnic table. We stayed for a week and will definitely come back if we are in this area again.

We're fulltimers and this is our favorite park. We've been here 4 times this year. We have a 40" MH with a tow vehicle and we have no problem getting up the road to the park. Views are awesome, winter and summer. Staff is wonderful and very accommodating. P-2 is our favorite site but P-1 through 5 are all great for the views.

This park is just great. The sites are large grassed sites, wonderfully maintained. The owners could not be more accommodating. They really care about their park and it shows. We looked at all the other parks in Las Cruces while here and there's no comparison. We'll definitely be back on our next visit here.

We also, were concerned about previous reviews of this park, but decided to try it and am so happy we did. We can't believe we're in the same park as past negative reviews. It's a wonderful park that is close to the interstate, but far enough away to see it in the distance and not hear it. Our site was easy to level. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Yes, it's gravel, but most of the parks we stay at are too. Maneuvering around roads was no problem and we're in a 40 foot motorhome with a tow. View is wonderful, mountains all around. Landscaping is natural xeroscape that lets you blend into the natural New Mexico greenery. To landscape with grass and plants would make the park look so unnatural. We can't wait to get back here again when we can spend more time.
