Pine Ridge Campground, Roebuck, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest commercial parks we have visited. This was our fourth stay. The owners of the park are just super people and the entire operation is top notch. Very nice setting with a fishing lake and close to groceries and such. We are experienced long time RVers. Will return again for sure. Love this campground! We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Pine Ridge Campground, Roebuck, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here previously, this time with the new owners. Very, very nice people who do everything to make your stay a pleasurable one. The park itself is well maintained and the restrooms / showers are as good as they get. Some sites are open - others shaded, but all are very good. Roebuck is close by for shopping needs and restaurants. One of the best commercial campgrounds - would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pine Ridge Campground in a Travel Trailer.

American Wilderness Campground, Grafton, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Check in was very involved with much info required for no real purpose. The check in bldg was A-1, the rest of this RV facility was poor. Recent rains left road potholes (very deep) filled with mud. Most of the campsites were not elevated and were sitting in partial water or entirely flooded. Potable restrooms about the park were worse than awful. Two days later the roads were mostly dry except for the numerous deep holes and the crushed rock turned the roads into massive dust generators. Woodalls rating was entirely off base. We would never stay here again. Typical of too many northern RV parks. We are not complainers: we just expect clean facilities, decent roads and dry campsites. Ninty five percent of the 40 or 50 RV parks we visit every year are fine. This one was not! We camped at American Wilderness Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Magnolia RV Park Resort, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

The park looks like a third world country. 'Wi-Fi did not work. Site next to us had a broken trailer with no windows, flat tires and was occupied.. Did not feel safe and asked for refund. Received all but sales tax. How Woodalls rates this a four star is a mystery. Almost all the sites are occupied by permanents residents. The place is a dump and that is being optimistic. We camped at Magnolia RV Park Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Exceptionally clean and the owners on-site were very friendly - on location restaurant was a good value for the money and the service was quick and efficient. WiFi worked very well which seems to be the exception compared to recent RV parks we have stayed, attached camp store was well stocked. This is an above average park!! We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
