Riverside County Fairground, Indio, California

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Fairground entrance is Gate 4, 46290 Arabia, Indio, CA. Call ahead to check if any activities going on at fairground. No amenities or activities, but concrete pull through spaces, lots of room, and full hookups for $20 per night. Whether you are just passing through or want to spend a day or two seeing Palm Springs and area, you can't beat this for location and price. We would stay here again. We camped at Riverside County Fairground in a Motorhome.

Destiny Parks and Pavillion (Military FamCamp), Fort Campbell, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here everytime we come to the area to visit our granddaughter. Noise from the skeet range is no worse than the military helicopters or the firing ranges. Cell phone and Air Card Internet connections have improved since we were here six months ago. We camped at Destiny Parks and Pavillion (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

30 Amp + Water + Pull Through + free Wi-Fi that works. Parking is gravel, but this appears to be about as good as it gets on the Alaska Highway. Rate includes Good Sam Discount and sales tax. We camped at Destruction Bay Lodge and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Issaquah Village RV Park, Issaquah, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small, neat park. They do have two spaces for pull throughs. Either would accommodate my 42 ft rig with tow. Located right next to the freeway, so you do get road noise. We camped at Issaquah Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oak Creek Campground, Verona, Kentucky

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Near the Interstate, and good pull throughs. NO SEWER (I missed the note when I first looked at the reviews). Call for reservation, and they will give you your site number to pull into so you don't have to go through the camp site to get turned around back to the entrance. I would stay here again. We camped at Oak Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Hide-W-Way Lakes, Ashtabula, Ohio

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

GPS will get you to driveway to the site. Most sites are occupied by permanent trailers, but they do have 4-6 pull throughs. Roads are a little tight, but we made it without problems in a motorhome with toad. We would stay here again. We camped at Hide-W-Way Lakes in a Motorhome.

Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Our site wasn't level (rear wheels off the ground to level the coach). The trees on either side of our site were only 11 feet off the ground. When I complained to the manager, he said to file a claim with our insurance company. $60 rate includes a mandatory $5 Resort fee for all of the activities, including pool which was closed. We will never come back to this park. We camped at Harpers Ferry / Civil War Battlefields KOA in a Motorhome.
