Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed the park. Limited access to rigs 40 foot and over. Our 42 foot rig had difficult maneuvers to leave park. Sites are not level but manageable. Location is best feature and good access to Atlantic Beach. We would stay again but check out sites prior to driving rig into park. We camped at Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park in a Motorhome.

Could not ask for more in a camp site. Used 50% discount due to disabled vet. We had almost 1 acre site on water front. Excellent park with good access to lake and local community. We camped at Eastbank COE in a Motorhome.

Deer Run RV Park, Troy, Alabama

Excellent stop for a night or two. We stayed on way to Florida and did not have any reason to stay in the area. Local college seems to be the reason for longer stays. We camped at Deer Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cave Country RV Campground, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park just off I-65. Good access to local restaurants, fuel and all Mammouth Cave and National Park facilities. Owner/manager is excellent and most helpful in all needs. I-65 noise is not a problem and nearby railroad has minimal noise. Includes cable and great satellite view. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Great location for the Tetons. The sites were spacious and reasonable level. No internet service, but close to a general store and supplies. The Jackson Lake Lodge offered good WiFi and cell service. We camped at Colter Bay Village RV Park -- Full Hookups (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Fishing Bridge Campground (NPS Campground), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The best part of this park is its location in the central portion of Yellowstone. We did not have electric service during our stay, but we were only at the campground in early morning and late evening. Better than staying outside the park. We camped at Fishing Bridge Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

Hillman Ferry Campground, Land Between the Lakes NRA, Golden Pond, Kentucky

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We extended our stay for 10 nights. Limited activity this early in the season, which we enjoyed. Hosts were very helpful and pleasant. We know the campground will be very crowded in later months, however, perfect in early spring and late fall. We will return during the same seasons. We camped at Hillman Ferry Campground, Land Between the Lakes NRA in a Motorhome.

Eddy Creek Marina and RV Park, Eddyville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Staff was helpful. Guided us to rear entrance due to location of sites she felt would accommodate our 35 ft. motorhome. However, upon arrival at rear gate, gate was very narrow. Host guided us through the gate with 1 ft. to spare per side. Upon trying sites, finally settled on site more level but narrow. Paid $20 per day due to lack of water or sewer service. Would not recommend the park unless a last choice. The location is good, but not constructed for RV at 35 or larger size. We camped at Eddy Creek Marina and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Duck Creek RV Park, Paducah, Kentucky

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We could not ask for more help and a friendly welcome to the park. The rating is qualified due to close proximity to I-24, however, this is part of the appeal of the park. This park is recommended for a short stay or overnight. The park included some obvious long term renters, but well maintained and not junky. The pool was closed but appeared to be a good quality facility. We would return to the park only for overnight but recommend to all under these circumstances. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Northgate RV Travel Park, Athens, Alabama

Date of Stay: November, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Good park for overnight from I-65. Just open, gravel sites with full hookups. Can be described as a Wal-Mart lot with full hookups. Park has a few long term rentals but primarily overnight stays. We would return on trip south. We camped at Northgate RV Travel Park in a Motorhome.
