Have stayed here in years past and always enjoyed it. Its still a very nice location. The lady at the gate was great. The site was well cared for and utilities worked fine. I got 115v on electric with a/c running: I'm impressed. Got satellite ok, plus had some shade. Pool was a relief from the heat and very clean with nice furniture. Passport rates. We will return.

I agree with prior reviews. Its not likely you will just be in the neighborhood and stop for a while at this location. You have to be headed here, as it's out in the country. Got pull-through site in partial shade. Plenty of room. 115 volts with a/c running. No cable but got 56 channels on antenna at 350 deg. magnetic. Got satellite easily, but could be a problem on some sites. Fishing pier. Its all about fishing and quite. If you need it, you better bring it with you. Passport America member. Nice location.

Well-- its just not my kind of town. I say town because its filled with permanents that have not moved in years. I had one of the few available water front sites. It was tough to back in with all the vehicles parked along the road. Then barely enough room to get my bumper off the road. I got to fish off the rear dock and that was a real plus. Huge cable lineup and 115v electric. The bathrooms could have been a bit more tidy. At dusk the onsite bar comes alive. Thumping and bumping. In season it must be something.

Very dependable overnight location. In the Passport system. Got a back to back site, to use as a pull thru. Plus a nice shade tree. The man in the office will help with everything you need. The pool area could use some shaded places. The VFW finished their remodel in town and is worth a dinner trip: good food.

This location is really starting to show its age. Enough for an overnight. Lots of shade and pick your site. Quiet. Laundry needed housekeeping. Plenty of space to walk the dog. With the a/c running I only got 104 volts. I ran the frig and water heater on gas to conserve power.

A convenient stop along Rt 231. We stayed a few days conducting family business. The grounds and pool are all well kept. Plenty of places to walk the dog. Lee's China Buffet on 231 south was a great dinner spot. I was given a site just long enough for my truck and trailer. It was open to the sun and the RV baked all day. There were many long shaded sites available and they were empty. I should have said something and been moved. Or management might think to put RVs in the shade. My a/c would certainly use a lot less electricity and lower the campgrounds electric bill. I'm not a KOA fan to begin with and this hasn't helped.

Always a stop for us when using the Gulf Coast road. Grounds well kept and staff friendly. The pool was clean and a welcome relief from the heat. Good cable and WiFi. Weak water pressure.

Stopped here because they are in the Passport America system. I was told they have a minimum two day stay rule. This was in the middle of the week The book says unlimited stays. From what we could see from the entrance it appeared to be all permanents. Not somewhere we wanted to stay for 2 days. Certainly not anywhere near what the web site shows. Beware the road in, its a rig shaker. We moved on.

Very nice location. We got a site with a little shade. Small cable lineup, so used the dish. Grounds and pool well kept. Office staff very helpful. Very empty this time of year. Would have stayed longer but their 1 day Passport restrictions are too short. So we moved on.

Very nice and well maintained location. A storm came thru and damaged a tree. The maintenance crew was cleaning it up almost immediately. Large and reasonable laundry. Passport system. Pool as warm as a bathtub. A nice stop.

This location has stayed a very nice stopover for us over the years. They keep up with their maintenance. The pool furniture looked pretty new. WIFI at the clubhouse. Still in the Passport system.

My site was very narrow. Its good the site next to me was empty. To get out from under my awning I would have been walking on their water hoses and sewer lines. Other sites in the park were much wider, but they were not offered to me. Its the summer in Florida and $40 should buy me a very very nice site. Road noise is a problem when out walking, but OK inside with a/c running. I did not use cable, but got 61 stations on the antenna. The WiFi was the fastest I have ever encountered in any other campground - 10 Mbps. Another first was the special water stands, with very long hoses attached, for washing out your holding tanks- great idea.

We had a very nice stay at Silver Palms We had an improved site with lots of pavers and a Tiki covered patio. The roads are all well built and wide. The pool is huge and has a patio that is covered and uncovered - take your pick. Right in town so all the restaurants are close. Very nice library and was able to swap some books. The only downside was no cable tv. But I got the satellite with no trouble.

Very nice and helpful staff. Some what narrow site but not too many campers here, so it wasn't a problem. No cable but antenna picked up a lot. Set up portable dish easily. Small library and swapped some books. Some permanents that appear to work locally. Well kept.

If coming from the north be very aware of their sign. I missed it and drove 5 miles before a turn around. Very well kept location. Office staff very nice and helpful. Passport only accepted for 3 days or would have stayed longer. $66.00 a night in Okeechobee in the summer is really over the top. Large site with pavers and fishing in the rim ditch. WPB on the antenna and clear for a satellite. Large open area for the dog. Mostly quite even with the highway so close. An enjoyable location.
