Boston / Cape Cod KOA, Middleboro, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

The Good: very nice campground for touring Cape Cod & Plymouth. A lot of really nice things for the kids, great playground, pool, etc. The Bad: they really, really, really need to do a little work getting the sites more level. Had to move three times to find a site where my leveling jacks would work and not have my front tires 5 inches off of the ground. Overall: highly recommend this campground if visiting the area. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Motorhome.

Stopped in for two nights. Had problem with 50 amp breaker tripping, after 2 visits it was replaced and problem solved. Overall a nice campground for visiting the DC area, Very helpful staff. A little on the expensive side but not many options in that area. We camped at Cherry Hill Park in a Motorhome.

Americamps RV Resort (formerly Richmond North / Americamps KOA), Ashland, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2008 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

A good place for a stayover rest spot but not much more. Right next to highway for convenience, but lots of highway noise. Stopped in for the night on the way to DC. One nice thing was that there was a travel center/ truck stop at the exit getting back onto the highway so it is convenient overall for a stopover point. We camped at Americamps RV Resort (formerly Richmond North / Americamps KOA) in a Motorhome.
