Desert Willow RV Resort, Hesperia, California

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Some sites are a little narrow but usable. Wi-Fi signal is very weak in the RV section, the staff will allow you to go to the mobile home section where you can get a good signal. All facilities are very clean. Close to the 1-15 and 395. I will absolutely stop here again. We camped at Desert Willow RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Desert Sands RV Park, Phoenix, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice clean park and the staff is very friendly. Easy access from I-17. When I was there, the pool was drained and the laundromat was closed for repairs. No wifi. Internet and cable is only available from a local provider and is charged by the month only. You can get local channels with your antenna. I only stayed overnight, so I didn't need any of these things. Again, very clean and well maintained. I would stay here again. We camped at Desert Sands RV Park in a Motorhome.

Finer Mobile Home/RV Park, Great Bend, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small area, the sites are just off 10th and MacArthur on a dirt road. The pads are cement strips for the tires and are level. There is only 1 spot with 50 amp service. There are no restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, or playground. There is water, sewer, electric, and cable. A couple of the sites have shade trees. There isn't much to choose from in Great Bend. This is good as a place to use as a home base. I was visiting relatives and it worked for me. We camped at Finer Mobile Home/RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Road RV Park, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2008 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park is close to I-40, but no road noise. The Wi-Fi and cable worked great. There are a few trees, but most of them are not very tall. Restrooms, showers, and laundry were very clean. The staff is very friendly. If I stay in Tucumcari, this is the place I will stay. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an older campground, but very clean. Sites are pull thru and level. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were escorted to our site and had all amenities explained to us. There are no restrooms or laundry, but we didn't need the services. It is walking distance to restaurants and stores. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Cactus RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mono Vista RV Park, Lee Vining, California

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Not a bad campground, only selected sites have TV access. We got there an hour early and had to wait off site until 1 PM even though our site was vacant. I know rules are rules. The grounds are grassy, you can walk to town. It is clean, quiet, and the nights are really cool. I would stay here again. We camped at Mono Vista RV Park in a Motorhome.

Joy Land RV Park, Tonopah, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is in the middle of nowhere. It is 1 mile off Highway 6. It is a dirt lot with hookups. If you don't have a toad, there is absolutely nothing to do because there is nothing in the near vicinity and about 3 miles from a Casino.. It's kind of spooky at night. They have 2 dirt lots, one where the office is and the one with the pull throughs is about 1/4 mile down the road. The owner is a very nice lady. I wouldn't stay here again mainly because of the location. We camped at Joy Land RV Park in a Motorhome.
