Hawthorn County Park, Terre Haute, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $88.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here on our way back from Cedar Point. In a weeks time the cabin we were staying in went from no tv and no chair to having both plus cable. Also the floor had been redone in the cabin and a fence put up around it. Nice little campground for a over night. don't know if there a lot to do around there but if your looking for some place to over night this is a good one. friendly staff and quiet all night. We camped at Hawthorn County Park in a Campground Cabin.

Sandusky / Bayshore KOA , Sandusky, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here 3 nights in one of there cabins. Some have complained about the trains but we really didn't notice them. the near by neighborhood was questionable but the park was nice and the staff were great with info on the area. It is now a KOA and they are really working at fixing it up. They were removing dead trees while we were there and installing new cabins. It's very close to Cedar Point which was the reason for our visit. We camped at Sandusky / Bayshore KOA in a Campground Cabin.

Ardmore / Marietta Campground, Marietta, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: March, 2004 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This camp ground was little run down. Could use some tlc. The bathrooms could use a good scrubbing. It?s right next to I-35 so you get a lot of road noise. It?s ok for an over night stay which we did, but I wouldn?t want to stay any longer. We camped at Ardmore / Marietta Campground in a Travel Trailer.

San Antonio KOA, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2004 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was nice, a little hard to get to. It?s next to a stream and is surrounded by trees. It seems to be in an industrial area but you would never know it once in the park. Bus service is available to the River Walk and the Alamo area. The staff was friendly and willing to help with where we want to go. We camped at San Antonio KOA in a Travel Trailer.

South Padre Island KOA, South Padre Island, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2004 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This was our 2nd visit to the park over spring break. It?s close to the beach and to some great bay or deep sea fishing. The pool is also heated which is nice for those days it just a little to cool to head to the beach. There is a nice rec room also for those days when it?s rainy. It?s a little hectic over spring break but still a great place to stay on the island. We camped at South Padre Island KOA in a Travel Trailer.
