Edgewater Resort & RV Park, Kelseyville, California

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are mostly dirt and not very level. There is good shade though. Campground layout is very chopped up and at odd angles. It is lakefront, but the lake is algae overloaded and buggy. Staff was very helpful: gave us a map and said to pick your own site, however due to strange site orientation, lake views were limited. There is a very abrupt turn-in on entry and exit. Might stay here again if lake gets cleaned up and the weather cooperates. We camped at Edgewater Resort & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Caspar Beach RV Park, Mendocino, California

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Campground area is a bit rundown, sites are mainly dirt and gravel although there are some paved sites. Location is hard to find due to lack of signage, and interior roads are narrow as are many of the sites. Beach is close by and the staff was helpful but there are a lot of units on a small property. We would probably consider other campgrounds in the area for our next visit to the Fort Bragg area. We camped at Caspar Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Maple Leaf RV Park, Morgan Hill, California

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Seems like a lot of park models rented to locals. It's good for an overnight stay since it's near Hwy 101 but the park lacks character. Check in was easy, if impersonal, and all services worked as advertised but we will probably stay elsewhere next time we are in the area. We camped at Maple Leaf RV Park in a Motorhome.
